There are over 20 animatronics in total.
All modifications of this mode which includes with categories to make it easier to understand:
- Balance changes (Animatronics):
- Animatronics' outlines are invisible TO the nightguard, making them more scarier.
- Animatronics's minimum attack power is based on its aggressiveness
- Animatronics gain more attack power as its aggression is increased
- Animatronics are unable to move or look around for a while (lessened as nights progresses & also based on its aggressiveness) if looked at by a camera
- Animatronics are also unable to move when being revealed to the nightguard through the door's light
- Animatronics has its own aggression system determined by the nightguard's actions
- Animatronics' general way of attacking is different
- D.VA (Foxy the Pirate) has been reworked heavily
- Balance changes (Nightguard):
- Nightguard's actions will determine every and each animatronic's aggression seperately
- Nightguard has a small jumpscare every random intervals
- Nightguard's all UIs (including text, but not voice chat) has been disabled to make it more realistic
- Nightguard has a mask to use (Easter Egg)
- One more nightguard will come in if the amount of current animatronics being played is double compared to the said amount in OG FNAF (think abt it, double animatronics = double nightguards = double trouble)
- Balance changes (General)
- The team swap system is working properly & all players will now take a turn on being the nightguard
- The map setting has been changed to 'Night' only
- Multiple jumpscares (when and what are automatically decided if any animatronics manages to win)
- Cams are rotating a bit
- 1 additional map has been added (Hollywood's Halloween)

For real, it was overwhelming the first time but if you stop and take some time to read each character’s abilities and try them out, it’s not that hard anymore. However I shall say, it’s a little too doable to play completely without cameras if you listen to the surrounding intently and use only lights and doors efficiently, while looking behind you from time to time. :>
It was actually super fun! I still want to win with Zen tho, this is the hardest lol
I'm glad to know you had a super fun experience! I'm sorry about it being overwhelming the first time, I tried my best to make it beginner friendly, but even so, you'll need to play a bit more to learn more, as experience is usually the best way to teach you!
Ironically, I can navigate the map well with Zen, he's probably only for people who has memorized the map layout well (and cameras positions), making him the least beginner friendly animatronic. I won with him many times before, yes. It is possible.
As for being the nightguard, your actions determines all animatronics' aggression. I won't say much, but not using cameras at all... Yeah. That will not end well.
Honestly it’s really fun. And yes well, I know the map but I just didn’t really know where the zen spawn was so it was easier for me to get lost, now that I know where I spawn, I might get better at at least reaching the doors lol

Edit: Something I’m experiencing right as I write this comment is that I am stuck on the hero selection screen because the character I had my select on got taken out of the list, but the character that’s showing up is still the character I had the select on. Since I’m on console, my select is stuck on the character that got taken out of the list and so I can’t press left or right to change the character I want to select. I guess instead of taking the character out of the list, you could just make it so that the character is just limited to 1 per lobby. Cuz if the character take’s my select with it when it disappear, I have to wait for the next round. Probably only a console issue since we don’t have a cursor to select.
No, that's a issue for PC users too + apologies for that, I'm actively trying to fix that bug.
I won with Zen just now, pretty satisfying to navigate around! xD
Congratulations!! Yeah, he requires a lot of time to attack carefully, similar to Ramattra.. in my opinion.
Btw, on the OG comment I said it’s « too doable » to play without camera? Well scratch that, nevermind, I said foolery. =w=

Yeah, I did say your actions as a nightguard determine every, and each animatronic's aggression separately. You can try to play without using cameras at all, but it won't end well with animatronics that knows how to play. Their aggression response adapts to whatever you're doing.
Looks like there are too many effects & hud elements, so that sometimes (especially with a full lobby) for example Zen's humming sound is not working or there are missing hud elements. Maybe you could still optimize it a bit. Otherwise great work so far! :)
I have optimized it a bit, over 30-50 HUBs (for each animatronic) have been merged into a single HUB + can't do much about the effects, but I optimized Zenyatta's effects & increased the limit of effects instead.

Sorry if I have to ask about Ramattra again, if it's really intended this way. Right now you check if any of the Nightguards is in view angle of Ramattra and not the other way around. So that means Rammatra can stare at the wall and won't get teleported out even if spotted by the Nightguard.

Not going to lie, this is the funniest game mode ever created, thank you for the Orisa nerf, because they were a bug that allowed people to cam the door with full attack power with impunity. do you plan on doing any other map?

I guess you could say that, but it’s only more realistic, and similar to FNAF, and that’s it.
So it isn’t like a hardcore mode exactly, but you definitely want some experience to win (especially because you need to know how certain animatronics works, as they require you to defend yourself in a different way).
TLDR; you need to be a good night guard like you would be in FNAF, if you want to win.

I think it’s more like a 10/10/15/10 but repeat 10s for all animatronics, couldn’t be that extreme in my opinion (ppl still could win every now and then)
