In this custom game mode for Overwatch, players are divided into two teams: the Seekers and the Runners. The objective of the game is for the Runners to reach a designated goal without being caught by the Seekers, while the Seekers have to eliminate all the Runners or stop them from reaching the goal in time to win.
If a Seeker catches a Runner moving, the Runner will start burning and take damage over time. The closer a Runner is to the goal, the higher the burn damage gets. However, the Runner is not eliminated right away. Instead, they can return to the spawn room to cleanse the burn damage and continue playing if they manage to get there in time.
Seekers have the ability to place security cameras, which detect any movement in their area of coverage. Runners have the advantage of being invisible if they stand still and can avoid detection from security cameras by crouching.
To prevent camping, Seekers will get slept if they are near invisible Runners for too long. Also a Sphere of Protection is granted to Runners if they are watched for too long by Seekers. This sphere briefly protects them from the Seekers' laser, but it is not a foolproof solution.

I'd also like mention that changing Juno's hyper ring cooldown using workshop codes also affects her glide boost cooldown and resets it to zero due to a glitch. If you want to nerf Juno I would suggest changing her glide boost instead as it gives her a lot of mobility in combination with her double jump
Just a minor suggestion but Cat is very powerful especially as a runner right now because she can just use her lifeline ability and get high speed for a full round. By far the fastest overall runner in the game.
This doesnt even factor in her positioning potential with Mercy and other stuff but I do believe she needs a nerf of some kind and disabling lifeline would help.
Here to announce that I will be patching a few bugs such as the ones relating to Tracer recall and Venture dig as well as create full map pool compatibility and adding the other objectives in control. If you have a discord I can dm you the code in the future or I can just dm in battle.net lol

Full map pool+ except control variant of Ilios, Lijiang, and Nepal as those are inconsistent in layout with their CTF variants.
There are also no current plans for the Death match maps due to technicalities but it doesn't mean I won't attempt it

Found a bug. When a runner is using their protective shield, if the seeker is pharah, whilst the laser isnt effective, pharah can still use the rocket barrage ult to kill thje runner in a protective bubble.
I think that's intentional lol
Since Season 12, on some maps, seekers are able to get from their spawn to the runners' in like 3 seconds if they use the right combination of characters (mainly Juno + Pharah)
Anti-camp sleep is basically worthless if the seekers stay close enough together. If one seeker is slept, the other can just watch where their partner was watching.
Zenyatta as a seeker is incredibly broken. He can just continuously kick runners that have the sphere of protection on them, which causes them to move even after the sphere runs out, making them visible and thus vulnerable to being killed.
Lúcio as a runner has some pretty major problems. First of all, the "you have been spotted timer" seems to be bugged on him. It lasts about 4-5 times longer on him compared to other heroes. He also cannot take advantage of the sphere of protection's full duration because for some reason, he is vulnerable even after he stops moving. I also feel like his wall ride stamina recharges too slowly and drains too quickly. Also, if he attempts to wall skim when his stamina is too low, he just plummets downwards and loses all horizontal speed. Not only that, but he also can't jump in general if his stamina is too low, and even with enough stamina, if Lúcio jumps a bunch of times in a row (even in place), the jump key just gets straight up disabled.
If a runner is very close to the goal, but not far enough to win, seekers can permanently camp the end, and the runner cannot use the sphere of protection because they are too close to the goal. Anti-camp sleep doesn't work in these scenarios because all the seeker has to do is stay far enough away to where it won't activate.
Maps with long sight lines are way too easy for seekers to camp. I think the best way to fix this would be to give the laser a maximum range. This would force the seekers to actually go around the map instead of waiting for runners to show up.
Overall, fun mode, but I feel like these things should be looked at.

Are we supposed to press a button or something? Regardless, it doesn't reset for certain players still for some reason. I'd suggest bringing back hero swapping resets Rez since that was more consistent but also simultaneously have the current reset Rez code work in conjunction too.

At first I thought it was a console problem but some people on console can do it too it's just random it feels like. Some workshop actions don't work at least on console as well for some reason. We're a neglected platform 😭
I found a way to solve the issue tho, i inspected the key binds from the game's hero settings and found out that the in game resurrection is the secondary fire not ability 2, so in the in game workshop settings i changed every ability 2 in mercy's commnd to secondary fire and it worked. I don't know why secondary fire is set to resurrection and not dmg boost, kinda weird tbh.
I have tried in the original custom game and It still doesn't work. Is there a button I'm supposed to press in order to activate it?
The servers weren't working for a while, couldn't create a game. So i found another one with an older version. Didn't know it was fixed.
Hello. I have a problem on my DF. I know you can't use slam after punch and after I use punch I can't use slam for a while. So, my problem is that now I can't use slam much longer after punch and I can't jump as well. Do you know about this super punch mechanic? It's when you use punch and then space. When I do that I can't press space and then use slam. And because of that, I can't super punch. I've had this problem recently, before it was fine, and it's happening only in this custom
Hey, it is intended that you can't use this mechanic as a Runner in this mode, since Doomfist had too much mobility with it and could cover long distances easily.
I just can't use punch and then space to make my jump a little longer. and after that jump just doesn't work

Hello, I think i found a problem about the Symmetra too.
I can change my teleporter trigger condition to a keystroke release to avoid lengthening the cooldown.

Hello I would like to tell you about some problems concerning Symmetra.
First of all, some players manage to activate its teleporter while being in mobility with a method that I ignore, wich allows them and their team to use the teleporter, which is very OP.
But some even smarter players use this method by moving away from the goal, then once the teleporter in hand approaches the goal and can use the teleporter to directly teleport to the goal.
Here is the code of a game to better understand this method : DA07PX (go to 2:30min to see the symmetra doing the method).
I could reproduce the issue and this method shouldn't work anymore in the latest version. Thank you!
At the moment, there is often forge script overload (this closes the game). It's come from of this mod or blizzard's servers ?
Lobby owners can try for the meantime to change the data center preference in the lobby settings. For example servers located in Finland seem to perform way better than servers in the Netherlands (especially during prime time).
It seems that some servers don't perform well lately, hopefully it will get better soon.

I found a bug on symetra : if you spam the teleporter button and the cancel teleporter button while moving, you can move with teleporter and when you place it, other players can use it.
I noticed that too and it should be already fixed. Thanks for the report though!
I created a new server and tried again, and its hard but still possible to do it.

Give back Zarya’s ult, Sigma’s ult and Lifeweaver petal platform as an optional setting. They made the game more fun since it was harder and you had to counter or trick them, now being Seeker is just plain boring. I’ve also played multiple matches and NOT a single round has seekers won. Great balancing!
Hard agree with Sigma ult and giving seekers more abilities. Sigma ult doesn't even reveal unless the runner is under a curved ceiling. Makes runners think more about their positioning and makes seeking a bit more fun than just simply running around and looking at people. There's so many cool things runners can do but seeking feels like a job. Having a role in a game that feels like a job rather than fun is a very clear issue. Junkrat and Symmetra is a fun seeking character for example. Though Symm might be a bit op because she controls so much space.
On top of that, for console mostly, the runners tend to be way more scared than they should be. Leads to a lot of standing around the whole game which makes seeker even more unfun. Mostly a skill issue here but it is still an aspect of the game that can happen.
So I've been playing as Lifeweaver and I accidentally ulted someone out of their hiding spot and killed them. I don't think that's fair for the runners. Also allowing seekers to use their skills to knock people after they've had their sphere appear isn't fair either. I saw a Junkrat use his bomb on a Mercy who stopped moving after her sphere ended, but the Junkrat used a bomb to continue her movement and then killed her.

second, I don't know what happened to the game mode, I didn't play Overwatch for almost 3 weeks now, I hope it still popular as ever.
finally, here the list I promised.
symm: enable the sentry turret give the runners good indicator of the seeker position, and you could make the turret give the seeker slow debuff
torb: increase turret throw speed so he could throw it above walls and give good indicator of seeker position
rinehardt: increase the ult charge rate so he could use it more often to make distraction, but i think the charge should be disable to not abuse it and push the seeker out of the map
junker queen: just make her jagged blade(right click) and carnage(E)deal poison DMG to make seeker put to sleep faster if he close.
ramattra: his tank form give him sopher of protection for 3 sec.
roadhog: his hook slow or stun seeker for 2 sec
orisa: Fortify(Shift) give invincibility
reaper: he is playable as he is but, if you enable his tp with 30 sec cd would be more efficient and easier character
bastion: his boom stun for 2 sec.
McCree: his flash stun for 2 sec.
tracer: her Recall(E) stop burn, it feels right to be like that since she go back in time before she get burnt, and Blink(Shift) with 40sec cd each
mei: her shift stop burning, also feel right to be like that, since ice kills fire, the cd must be +60s
sojourn: her E deal DMG with missive slow debuff to the seeker.
ashe: burn deal DMG so she may put seeker to sleep even if the seeker far from her.
wrecking ball: idk, maybe decrease grappling claw(Right click) cd.
I strongly disagree with the privacy changes, the game already allow you to block anyone, so what the point of ruining commination for all player just because someone is triggered by the word "Camper".
regarding the gameplay:
1-Sphere of Protection build up should be cumulative, since everyone now just pick solder running like maniac not giving a chance for the Sphere of Protection to activate, or Lucio surfing on high angle covering all choke points.
2- provide a "trap" for the seekers stun them for few seconds and make the runner vulnerable for the tarped duration or slow them signify for short period of time.
3-bring back the armor that come with Sphere of Protection or at least lower the DMG taken to the runners
4- some character literally useless like : tanks(expect for Doom) Symm , Torb, Bastion... etc. I'll make list of some character I feel they are useless and what changes could be made to make them viable.( I'll do it after next week i have final exams now).

2.The inclusion of temporary health mechanics would significantly diminish the level of skill required for runners in the game and It would undermine the strategic aspect.
3.Implementing a stamina bar that grants temporary speed boosts would adequately cater to the characters mentioned below .
The current state of the game, with the disabling of the runner's scoreboard and the implementation of privacy changes, has resulted in a notable decrease in toxic behavior. Matches have been a lot more peacefull since rhe addition of all those privacy changes , I barely see any toxicity anymore which is nice ,it is kinda annoying having to listen/ see players insult each other over a game.

I have some suggestion that should improve the gameplay
2.Enable assamble heroes at the start of every match for 5-7 seconds so u can switch skins.
3.When a seeker is slept because his life reached 0 he should sleep not be knocked down
4.I like the new stamina bar implemantation it should be put for heroes who have no movment abilities aswell but as a temporary speed boost - this would be op for runners so to make this balanced make it so runners can't stop running for 2-3 seconds once this speed boost has been applied - this would use all the speed aswell
5.. Make a stamina bar for echo glide.
6.. Allow seekers to swap heroes once per round, regardless of their location. This adjustment aims to add variety to the seeker gameplay experience without impacting the balance at all.
7..When ur whole team dies as a runner and there's only 1 guy left who's close to the start with 180 seconds or more left thinking he can win but barely moves and doesen't die is very annoying idk how would u balance this , maybe give seekers wallhack and the ability to 1 shot melee him

Heroes that need a stamina bar to become playabale : Bastion , kiriko, , sigma, zen like the one in murder mystery : 7HMMT or the one that u have on ur own code of murder mystery
3.I don't think this affected squishis from what I remember , but there's a much easiear workaround just check if the player has taken damage while knocked down and if it did clear status.
It's very annoying to keep having to put the camera in the same spot everytime please add this.
Instead of outright removing this a stamina bar should do the trick.

Seekers are knocked down to avoid that weird movement bug.
A player named Pure blatantly copied a old version of your gamemode , players don't even check the import code to distinguish it since the title is the same, it will probably die in a couple of weeks since I don't think he will update it unless he keeps copying ur gamemode .

However, this only works when you are the host and if you are the host you have other methods of dealing with toxicity so could you please consider disabling the killfeed, scoreboard, and nameplates by default for runners? This small adjustment would go a long way in reducing toxicity and fostering a more positive environment. It wouldn't affect the gameplay experience negatively at all, but it would make a world of difference in terms of creating a healthier community.
Additionally, I kindly request that you disable the kill cam by default as well.

You can fix this by removing nameplates, remove the killfeed and kill cam, and remove tab. Idk if it’s possible to only show one team on tab , and for the seekers u can let the tab or make a hud that shows how many players are alive and on which heroes or only one that shows how many players are alive.

Bug: mele doesen't wake up seekers who sleeps
Bug: doomfist or any other hero can use ults near checkpoints, it's more annoying with doomfist who can get to checkpoint with no risk of beeing killed

Baptise cleanse is too op now that everbody uses the new startegy at the start where baptise puts down 1 cleanse a significant ammount distance from the start and every mobile character runs there without the seekers beeing able to do anything and then uses the 2nd one some significant distance away and the mobile characters get there again, this should be back to 1 use and half the time and size.
5.Briggite healing is annoying it makes any 1 target unkillable even at a medium distance.

2.Ana sleep at 10 seconds when missing is still op , it should be 20 or 25.
3.Winston jump cooldown is too op on a lot of maps it should be 22 or higher.
I agree with 1 , but disagree with the rest ana and winston needs stronger nerfs they're too op it's so ez to win as a runner there's no challange even if the seekers camp.
1.Bug:Ana sleep on seekers when she misses is the same as ana on runners 10 seconds
2.Bug/broken ability: zarya is able to buble doom/ anyone close to the last checkpoint that combined with the short cooldown makes it impossible to stop anyone from just walking in at the last point, it's espcially broken with doom who can do his tech wich gets him a huge distance in the safety of the zarya's bubble.
3.Bug/broken ability: Hog is unkillable a medium distance from the start and at the middle of the map by one seeker also hog combined with zen heal makes him unkillable even with 2 seekers even at the middle of the map
4.Bug/Broken ability: zen heal makes 1 target unkillable at the start of the map and at a 60 % distance from the start to the medium part of the map quite op.

Bug: if someoane wakes up the seeker after they're slept the sleeping hud still remains.
Doom Slam is too good if u perform a tech it can give u too much distance I suggest u put it on 50-60 % speed while slam is used.
And make the beam bigger so u can fix the fly bug cause it's very annoying.
Allow healears that can heal themselfvs to heal more while on seekers.
Making the beam bigger is unfortunately not possible. There are workarounds though, but they would increase the server load even further.
Decreasing the movement speed while Doom uses slam has no effect, so I increased the cooldown from 35 to 60 seconds.
The passive heal/self-heal is very minimal because Seekers should move around more by using health packs.
I agree with this, doom is so op that whenever I go doom I win no matter how good the seeker is , I haven't lost against a seeker in 8 hours.
Making the beam bigger should help with the bug .it happends almost every match for me.
