Survive. Get money. Repeat
One player becomes the Attacker. The Attacker decides when the spinning Hamster will throw a deadly orb. There are 5 orbs (1 round = 1 orb)
All players try to dodge the orb (the number of moves is limited)
Survivors share the prize money after each round. Fewer survivors = bigger prize for each of them. The Attacker is interested in killing everyone except himself (but it's not that easy)
When all 5 orbs are spent, the Hamster chooses the next Attacker
Buy upgrades and get more money to earn Hamster's respect and become a Game Master
Buy upgrades
There are many upgrades for the Attacker that allow him to eliminate opponents more effectively. But there are also many upgrades for other players that add interesting ways to earn money. Here are some of them:
Place your bets
When you die, you can bet on the player who will survive. You will receive a percentage of his prize money after each round. Early bets bring you more money.
Stay in line
You can receive a cash bonus for each player who stands on the same vertical or horizontal line with you. Cooperate with other players to get more money.
Create walls after death
Even if the Attacker killed you, you can still take revenge on him after death. Create a wall over your dead body to change the direction of the orb and disrupt the plans of the Attacker.
Get paid for emotes
If anyone dies while you are using an emote, you will receive a reward. The endless emotes like sitting or dancing allow you not to worry about timing. But it's hard to dodge the orb while you're performing an emote. Will you take the risk?
Become a Game Master
You can spend $10,000 or more to become a Game Master. Your name and title will be displayed to all players even after you leave the lobby. From time to time, you will be able to choose between two players to make one of them the next Attacker. This allows you to become Attacker more often or give this role to your friends.
If you return to the same lobby later and pick the same hero, you will get all the Game Master perks again.
Keep in mind that any other player can become a new Game Master if they donate more money than you.
Achievements and Titles
You can get a special title by completing very difficult achievements. Here are some of them:

| Thunderer | Kill 12 players with one chain lightning |
| Gambler | Win $1000 on a betting winning streak |
| Predictor | Win $3000 on a betting winning streak |
| Prophet | Win $5000 on a betting winning streak |
| Machine Killer | Kill 10 bastions with the "bastions-only kill streak" upgrade |
| Kamikaze | Kill 10 players with a single explosion by blowing yourself up with an Explosive Orb |
| Magician | Be the only survivor among 10 players consumed by magical orbs on your turn |
| Wizard | Be the only survivor among 13 players consumed by magical orbs on your turn |
| Trickster | Be the only survivor among 16 players consumed by magical orbs on your turn |

This mode has been gathering dust for a while. It's so sad how such dedicated coding to make amazing gamemodes just die out (except for kill to grow. That is always present no matter what crisis ow2 goes into.)
Dizzy ball has never been popular. This mode has the least in common with the original Overwatch of all my mods. Not the type of gameplay that a player expects to see when entering a hero shooter. And Kill to grow, on the contrary, is too similar to a regular Overwatch. I think this is the reason. But it's still sad
thats what annoys me how modes that are similar to regular overwatch are always popular
This is why I always wanted ow to have a daily “workshop game of the day” sort of thing that can be seen before someone enters Qp, comp etc. There’s got to be people who would want to play more complex or unique games other than the usual workshop modes that also blocks newer game out.I’m not counting popular tab because either it’s the same games or random empty ones appear.
I’ve just had a match with a Mei using the snowman emote on the top right corner of the map ( from the camera’s point of the view) to get In between the walls of the map. Not sure how it worked but that’s what I remember seeing, could you have a look into that?
Well... There was a bug with emotes that allows you to hide inside walls. I almost fixed it. Almost. But now it should be less critical.

Today I was testing ways to use Hammond bombs. It wasn't as fun as it might seem. But I have a couple of other ideas to play with
any other projects you planning or thinking of doing?
I plan to release a few more updates for Dizzy Ball and return to making new maps for "Where is it". But I would like the devs to fix more workshop bugs before I get back to that.

The easiest way is to remove some of the hamster's lines to make room. There is still a lot of garbage code that can be cleaned up. But this will take a lot of time. Optimizing code is not as fun as adding new features. So I'll do it if some really cool ideas come up.
Ideas for quests
Thanks for the ideas! But I'm not sure if that's what we need. Since all these quests can be completed if you play the game for a long time without much effort. It's a matter of time, not skill, when you get the title.
I want players to be proud of their achievements. Titles should reward players for completing challenging quests. This is a kind of endgame content.
The question is, what titles would YOU like to get? I'll think about the quest

This means that you must be the only player touched by the explosive orb. I also increased the maximum explosion radius if you are hit by two orbs at once

Yeah. The last big update I made to Kill to Grow was causing the game to crash way too often. So I put it off until better times and switched to Dizzy Ball

After an attacker is chosen there could an 8% chance that a “loot bastion” appears and if killed the attacker is awarded something around £1000 or 70% of the 1000 is given to the attacker and the rest is dispersed evenly to everyone else ( apart from the other bastions ).
I don't want to add mechanics that are very similar to a piggy bank one. But your idea can be implemented in another way. I'll try to experiment with this

This is a cool idea! Titles can be shown during the announcement of the attacker. I already have a few ideas on how to implement it
there needs to be an upgrade selection to increase the number of throws per turn
I was thinking about an upgrade that gives 6 balls instead of 5. But that would make other players wait longer for their turn. Maybe I will add the ability to increase the number of balls only for players who throw several balls in the first round.
Even now, good players kill everyone with only 4 balls. In the last round, they just throw the ball into the empty space and it's pretty boring. So now I'm working on making the last rounds more exciting.

There were actually two hamsters in the early version of the game. One good and one evil. There was an attacker and a defender player in every round. The good hamster controlled by the defender made walls to protect other players from the orb. But it was too much. So I removed the second hamster and gave the opportunity to build walls to all players.

It looks like you were playing in a high-ping lobby. If the connection to the server is good, there is no delay.

Some random facts that hammond says about himself between the end of matches ( although I saw something like this on a Reinhardt game ( I can’t remember the name ) that shows facts at the centre of the chamber so might be too similar). But could be a fun sort of thing to hear talk about.

Thanks a lot! This is exactly the feedback I was waiting for. You came up with a bunch of great ideas.
I will definitely experiment with teleports and health regeneration. I also like the idea of betting on the number of survivors. Right now I'm trying to figure out which features are in demand so I don't add more to the game than it can handle. Since the Overwatch Workshop has many limitations, any new feature can be a problem to implement other features in the future.

I’m glad you like some of my ideas,
I wish that before Blizzard enabled the workshop they actually put in new actions, sound effects or something significant and particularly with as you said with not putting in too many things that may overload the game. I had hoped that during the time that it was disabled they would make it more powerful and capable of handling more at once because some current workshop games would benefit alot from that. If anything to me it just crashes more often when adding new actions/conditions despite switching from ps4 to ps4 pro.
Unfortunately, the only new thing they have added to the Workshop is new bugs. I think the workshop is not a priority right now until they release PvE. But I hope it's a matter of time
For now I’m not getting my hopes that PvE is out soon, I would say it releases at Summer or maybe even Autumn but with no one at Blizz really saying anything we just don’t know. And being a feature that I imagine a good amount of players use while in matchmaking it’s disheartening seeing the channels and workshop creators that had focus on it leave possibly due to disinterest, lack of motivation and passion.
