Just Get Across: A competitive puzzle platformer.
Your goal is to get across the map. How hard could it be?
Just Get Across is a bound game mode. The game is based off an old genre of Starcraft custom game modes called "bounds" where the goal of the game was to traverse across a deadly playing field of explosions. The explosive patterns would loop allowing players to memorize the pattern and safely cross to the other side. I ported the concept to Overwatch so you guys can experience the satisfying and frustrating gameplay for yourselves. Think you can complete all the levels? It's harder than it looks!
The color of the spheres have unique effects on the player:
White: pushes the player back. These act as walls.
Gray: Turns the player invisible.
Black: Prevents the player from moving.
Red: Kills the player on contact.
Orange: Kills players that are standing still.
Yellow: Key / Lock. Collect the yellow key to allow you to pass through yellow spheres. You can only hold one key at a time.
Lime Green: Key / Lock. Collect the lime green key to allow you to pass through lime green spheres. You can only hold one key at a time.
Sky Blue: Ice. Prevents players from stopping or turning once they are standing on the ice.
Blue: Kills players that are moving / in motion.
Purple: inverts the players controls by flipping their POV.

The walls at the beginning and end bounce you around and sometimes throw you out of the map

Hello ! We love your mod Overbound but i think with a keyboard it's better to go from the bottom to the top. With a controller it's ok for left to right, but with keyboard it's hard to moving forward. I don't know if you understand why, it's about the placement of our fingers on the keyboard, basically we want to press W to move forward, it's instinctive. In any case thx for your work !
I'm currently working on version 3.0.0 so I'll see what I can do to make this more intuitive.

I can't request a skip on console
Hey thanks for trying out the game. The interact key when held down for 3 seconds will trigger the skip request and a simple majority (>50%) of players will force the game to move on to the next sequence. My guess is either console players don't have access to the interact key, or that there was a bug in your particular match where a player who completed the sequence left the game before the game switched to the next sequence. Right now this triggers a soft lock and I'm working on fixing that. Once a single player has successfully beaten a level, skip requests are disabled since the game will go to the next level anyway. If any of these scenarios sound familiar, let me know and I will have a better idea if this is a bug or a feature. Thanks!
