Rein Invasion 3 is the next step in the Rein Invasion series, packing tons of new and improved mechanics and featuring an original gameplay mode where you protect the Nexus from increasingly powerful and chaotic waves of Reinhardts and other heroes as unique Bosses.

Tower Defense
From projectile turrets to nanoboost stations, you can use credits to deploy automated towers to aid your team in the mission. Towers can be placed anywhere as long as they don't overlap, and then easily configured, moved or sold. They can also be upgraded from Levels 1 to 3, enabling new and more powerful mechanics unique to each tower.
100+ Hero Talents
Each and every one of the playable Overwatch heroes have been upgraded with intricate talents that you can buy with credits. From Juno's ultimate abducting Reins like an UFO to lore-accurate Doomfist and Sigma, all the augmented heroes are free for you to discover and enjoy using against the opposing army.
Reinhardt Classes and Bosses
You will face the classic Reinhardt and his rocket hammer, but prepare for exciting twists on the character in the form of different classes of Reinhardts with original abilities and properties that will spawn randomly. You will have to adapt your playstyle to eliminate them and defend the Nexus efficiently. To name a few: Fire-hardt, Ice-hardt, Electro-hardt, Titan-hardt and Zombie-hardt! Can you guess what they do?
Other heroes make an appearence in the form of Boss enemies with contrasting fighting styles and sometimes unique powers that can turn the tide of battle. For instance, The Summoner (Ramattra) can evoke Reinhardts around his target!
Custom Status Effects
You know the good old stunned, knocked down and frozen statuses. But have you heard of overclocked, enraged, crushed, iced and shocked? The afromentioned hero talents and enemy classes make use of original custom-coded status effects that shake up the gameplay in ways you've never seen.

- Optional third-person mode with 3 different view angles and a custom crosshair for precision;

Copying an ally as Echo is bugged. You can't move and you automatically turn back to normal after a couple of seconds. The same problem applies to copying bosses. Basically you can only copy an enemy Rein
As fun as the gamemode is, we've ran into some issues with the bosses, mainly Illari - her healing is too much and after she heals back to full her health just does not move down, she's impossible to kill. Other than that, great job on the gamemode, the tower defense aspect is really fun

I like the changes from 2 to 3 but from playing I've had some issues while playing.
Other then those two things I love the changes from a free for all defense to a true tower defense. Damage has been turned down but in a way where I like it. I hope some of these things can get addressed.

Thanks for the feedback. Players make money based on damage and healing (with a small bonus to healing), but I get how that can feel frustrating to certain heroes.
An overhaul is underway and I'll address those issues! No ETA though.

Dude. I'm amazed at what you've done. I didn't know that it was possible to make such a cool visualization in this custom. It's a pity that there is no such thing on the map. I wanted to do something similar at Volskaya Industries. But my hands are out of my ass And even the GPT chat didn't help.
GPT is super bad at workshop, and its not possible to get it working on other maps because of the server stress that pathfinding comes with!
I can't believe people are still remaking, upgrading, making sequels to my silly, barebones mode (even if only similarities are name and idea of PvE mode vs Reins).
So thank you for making this awesome mode, you're great at this!

Hello! My name is KURI, and I'm a Korean player who is a huge fan of your mod.
I had a chance to play the Korean version and noticed that many parts of the translation felt a bit unnatural.
If you're open to it, I would love to volunteer to handle the Korean translation. To give you an idea of my experience, I've created my own Workshop modes (in Korean, of course), such as "All-Hero Punch-Out" (519AA) and a "Cinematic Mode" (ZPY98). I've also translated other workshop mods like (AGCCY) and (DWEPY).
I'm writing this because I truly believe your mod is a masterpiece,
and I want to help share it properly with the Korean Overwatch community.

Shimming in to report that Zen is still broken, imposible to kill with a full team. Also, when fighting bosses, After you kill the quota of Reins the team should get at least less of them, the server crashes too much and it feels very unforgiving, even after completing a part of the challenge. I believe the game could scale a bit faster at coin gained per round too, to try to give the opportunity to spend a little bit more on small upgrades and turrets. It feels like there's a lot to spend on but never enough money to do so. Lastly, some dps upgrades wouldn't hurt, specially when after spending a lot on defense you have to deal with a crowed nexus anyways. That's all, fun game but needs a bit of a tweak.

I've really, really been enjoying this the last few days, and I've had people join me while in queue and then told me that they've left queue to keep playing! You've done an absolutely amazing job with this gamemode, thank you so much for sharing your hard work with all of us!!
My one sticking point with it is that I haven't yet been able to defeat Boss Zen, even with a full team of people? (Also, that people do NOT get the message about not killing Zombie-Reins, but that's player behavior and harder to account for.)

Tried playing this but for some reason can’t get past the beginning where it says menu and it’s stuck on 1:49? I’m on Xbox :(
Strange, did you try restarting and trying again?
I feel like it got a LOT harder - the zombies don't die anymore and overwhelm the Nexus. My group only got through 3 rounds, where previously we could dominate for SEVERAL rounds.
Zombie-hardts only die if the wave is already "over", the point is to avoid them (boop, distract, etc)
