Overview
A high-stakes PvP battle where up to four Challengers face off against a single Boss. Each side evolves through powerful, randomly selected perks, shaping unique strategies and playstyles every match.
The first team to score 4 points wins.
🤔 The Challengers
At the start of the match, each Challenger selects one of three random perks.
Whenever either team scores a point, all Challengers choose another random perk, continuously evolving their builds throughout the match.
Perks persist even when switching heroes.
Perks grant stat boosts and consumable items that can turn the tide of battle.
💀 Building the Boss
The Boss plays differently — starting with five perks instead of one. Each perk is chosen from three random options within specific categories. The Boss may not switch heroes.
Starting Categories
Boss Archetype: Defines your playstyle through powerful stat modifications, both positive and negative. Some archetypes are restricted to certain hero roles.
Defense: Focus on survivability — health, regeneration, or damage mitigation.
Offense: Perks that enhance your damage potential.
Movement: Grants speed boosts or mobility-enhancing abilities.
Bodyguards: Summons allied heroes that appear when you take damage. Most allow up to 2 active guards at once, with some perks increasing this limit. Once defeated, guards respawn after a cooldown.
⚡ Progression
Unlike the Challengers, the Boss gains new perks only when the opposing team scores. Each new perk offers a major power spike and can drastically alter your strategy.
Additional Categories
Spirit Infusions: Channel the spirit of another hero to assist you — for example, a Roadhog Spirit that uses Chain Hook whenever it’s off cooldown.
Auras: Emit a field that benefits allies or hinders enemies within range.
Specializations: Amplify other perk categories — such as increasing Aura potency or boosting defenses while Bodyguards are active.
🤖 Playing with Bots
AI players automatically receive random perks, making the mode functional even without a full party.
