Portal Gun

I was bored the other day so I decided to make a portal gun. physics and all.
You can do all the tricks you normally can in actual portal.

Primary fire: Shoot Blue/Green portal
Secondary Fire: Shoot Orange/Purple Portal
Reload: Remove all portals.
Interact: look through portal.
Ability 2: Pick up cubes

Future updates:

  • Improving the Look through portal function.
  • Fixing the camera so it doesnt force you to face the direction of the exit portal. (In Progress)
  • Improving portal funneling. (positional autocorrect.) (In Progress)
  • Adding the portal occlusion indicators (Icon that shows where the portal is through walls)
  • Improving Cubes graphics (make it a cube and not a sphere)
  • Make it not possible to shoot portals through emancipation grills.

Possible future updates:

  • Funnels
  • Blue and Orange Gels
  • maybe some puzzles as a separate mode.

Update Log (2)

  • Added 2 player support
    • Player 2 will have Green and Purple Portals
  • Improved the No-Collide area on the portals to make it easier to flow into them.

  • Started Adding Interactables

    • Currently A single normal cube spawns near the player spawn, laser cubes and turrets will come later.
  • Added Emancipation grills, 4 currently are added, more coming in the future.

  • All interactables and map objects are toggleable in the workshop settings
