Hero vs Hero Team Battle

Summary

Eliminate players on other heroes to convert them to your side! The round ends when everyone has become the same hero. You score points based on the number of players you convert to the winning team!

This is a fast-paced fun deathmatch mode to play with your group while in queue. I suggest opening the lobby to everyone to get more players in.

Each round starts as a free-for-all brawl, but quickly changes into a manhunt as teams start to form. Will you work together to chase down the last straggler? Or will they start making a comeback by converting your fellow teammates!

I decided to make this last year after seeing a similar mode streamed by a Korean pro player while in queue (I can't remember who it was, sorry!). So I can't say I'm the inventor of the mode, however the implementation is 100% mine! I've decided to release the latest version here, as I think it's the most polished version of this game you'll find.

Balance Changes

  • Tanks have slightly reduced health pools.
  • Workshop limitations cause turrets to misbehave in this mode, therefore abilities that summon turrets have been disabled. This include's Torbjorn's Deploy Turret, Symmetra's Sentry Turrets, and Ashe's B.O.B.

  • Disabled heroes in the hero roster are now carried through to the game.
  • Fixed a bug where a message intended to be displayed once per player displayed every round.
  • The in-game HUD now displays the correct workshop code.
