_Push
This code is over 6 months old. The code may have expired and might no longer function.
This is a recreation of the Overwatch 2 Push gamemode; it's essecially the same just with an orb instead of a robot and it doesn't take place in Toronto.
OBJECTIVE
Each team has a transparent sphere that move along a precreated path, which ever team gets their sphere the furthest along the track when time runs out or the first team to get their sphere to the end of the track wins.
HOW TO DO OBJECTIVE
Pushing the spheres along the track is done through being in control of the non-transparent orb (indicated with a icon & a beam of light going to the sky).
The orb moves along the track same as the spheres but unlike the spheres can go both way depending on the team in control.
If your team is in control the orb will move along the track until it gets to your sphere and will start pushing it. i.e. If the sphere was at the other teams sphere you have to move it all the way back along the track back to your sphere, however it does move x3 faster when not pushing a sphere.
The orb works like a payload moving faster with more teammates on it (caps at three), can be contested, but can go backwards and forwards.
MAPS
There are currently four maps that are all control maps. I did this to make my life easier with balance as the maps are mirrors of themselves and because the Toronto map in ow2 is a mirror map aswell.
ADDITIONAL
I played this gamemode with my pugs group and they really liked so I wanted to share it here. If you want ROLE QUEUE toggle the rule (near the top) that is called "role queue".
Their is an OVERTIME system similar to the overtime in normal gamemodes just with far worse UI.
Small side note their are the flags, they exist, can be picked up, but cannot be captured. There is no way I know of to get rid of them, sadly. If you are playing with 10 people or less you can toggle the "remove flags" rule and winstons will spawn and teleport the flags into the sky.
Feel free to give me any suggestions for improvements that you might have; I'd love to make this better if I can!
Thanks and have fun!
