Bastion's Featured OW 2 changes remade in Workshop
Because none of you guys are patient
Note: Due to workshop limitations, some features were unable to be made properly in the game, and therefore have been not added or slightly changed. The basis of the changes still remain the same.
Changes Include:

| Tactical Grenade | Replacing Self Repair! Bastion fires an explosive that bounces off walls but sticks to the ground and players, shortly exploding and knockinh back enemies. | 15 stick damage, 100 damage in a 6m radius. 10s cooldown |
| Configuration: Artillery | Replacing Configuration: Tank! Bastion enters a state and has 8 seconds to select up to 3 spots to fire a powerful missile down. | 600 damage max in a 6m radius. Shots take 2s to fall. |
| Configuration: Recon | Bastion's recon weapon now has no damage falloff and spread at the cost of a slower firerate. | 20 ammo. 0.25s firing rate. |
| Configuration: Sentry | Bastion can now move while in Sentry form, but at reduced speed and damage. | Lasts a max of 8s, 10s cooldown. Speed and damage reduced by 40%. |
Limitations:
- Bastion's Recon weapon will be a little less effective against armour and non-player entities (barriers, turrets, walls etc.), due to how its damage mechanics were done in the Workshop.
- Configuration: Artillery's camera is slightly limiting to its turning movement and perspective options
- If Bastion is affected by abilities that affect movement, then his Configuration: Artillery camera also gets affected
- Some bugs may happen. Let me know!

I'm having an issue where the tactical grenade won't fire properly now, when playing on Hanamura the grenade seems to spawn in the floor of the ground inside the first point. Any help with that?
Sorry if this is a weird question but could you explain how to put sentry mode on the cooldown system like the explosive shot instead of the resource meter?
It's a bit complex, but essentially what you do is that you create a HUD text that says the cooldown info, and another above it that are just empty lines, moving the cooldown HUD to the center.
You can also copy the code from the interface and try to understand it from there
have you thought about making Sombra’s OW2 rework? or is it too complicated ?
I've thought through but it seems a bit finicky with her stealth and hack changes. Sombra's Hack can't be cleared with Workshop commands, meaning it's not possible to shorten her hack unless it's re-implemented
well how bout this when she uses her hacks on someone don't let it actually hack the target but instead add the effect of it instead and turn off all ability's on the target for 1 seconds while also putting a variable on the target to activate the new passive
that's what's difficult, detecting the exact player who got hacked without letting them get hacked in the first place.
How does her hack work usually anyway? Can't you just uh

Players within radius
Is in view angle
( sort by )distance between?
Or uh
Maybe some other complex math function...
The exact algorithm for auto-target abilities (Zenyatta's Orb of Harmony and Orb of Discord, Mercy's Heal/Damage beams, Zarya bubble, etc.) has always been an elusive beast. People have gotten close, but unfortunately given the fact that many of these abilities can have adjustable client-side settings, it's very difficult to actually know who is being targeted.
Fire.
This is very well made. I wanted to make Bastion move in turret form for a while and I had no idea that you could use Start Accelerating to move him. I used that in one of my gamemodes and it works very well. Great job!

Will you do a complete custom OW2 mod of 5v5 OW with all the changes showed off so far? I know there was a mod made like half a year ago? but it's outdated now with Sombra & Bastion changes.
I might since I could just take the currently existing one and insert bastion and sombra’s changes. That’s however to be determined as I have to finish up on Sombra’s kit and see if I have the time to get all the changes

Not really. Her hack can't be cleared using workshop; trying to alter her invisibility cast and detection radius, along with enabling her to hack while invisible is a lot more finicky than it seems.
oh yeah i totally forgot the invisible hack one but can you just set invisible command on sombra while she hacks then goes back into her actual invis?
You'd have to check if she was invis before the hack
