Hero Mastery: Lifeweaver
Remember that time you tried lifting the ulting Orisa only for you to miss your platform by a hair? How about that time you thought you'd save your entire team from Zarya's ult just to put your platform anywhere but below your teammates' feet? Don't forget the countless times you tried putting your tree below that Pharah ult countless of times just to miss it by an inch and set yourself up for a trip back to the spawn.
You don't remember? Oh right! It's because you mastered your Lifeweaver mechanics right here!
HERO MASTERY: LIFEWEAVER
Practice your mechanics on Lifeweaver as you take on different interactions you will see commonly in your usual games! Get your flower gaming on in two (2) ways:
PRACTICE MODE
Pick whatever ability and level (interaction) you want to practice over and over again! The said abilities and levels are the following:

- DOOMFIST - Survive Meteor Strike

TRIAL MODE
- If you're up for a challenge, why not try this one instead? You will have to complete every level in sequence (as listed above) to complete this. Every failure will count as a death though - now don't hoard too much! He is called Life-weaver for a reason. Get through all these and you might get a nice message and bragging rights with your death count (or lack thereof) in the end! (Warning: This mode can get infuriating real fast!)

Hi! OMG I honestly LOVE this workshop! <3
I was wondering if for Survive Self-Destruct (No Dashing) w/ Petal Platform, could there be more different ways that D.Va Bomb gets "thrown", like one moment where it's just placed on the ground or "thrown" straight across the ground or at an angle? Given the fact that in a game against D.Va, D.Va Bomb doesn't always get thrown straight into the air.. lol
And yeah, I love this workshop, it's been so helpful, although, I do still need more practice at perfecting LW xDDD

I actually thought about that when writing the code but then I thought the bomb would be too easy to dodge because the player could "cheese" their way through the level just by standing on the platform while the bomb is on the ground. Will definitely try to come up how to implement the suggestion while maintaining its challenge! Thanks again. :)

For the Mauga/Tree interaction i saw it on Reformed Ravi, it can be done but the positioning is a bit harder.

Heya! I finally got to test the interaction. That was honestly impressive yet simple enough to perform. I'll make sure to put it on my list when I make a separate practice mode for multi-abilities. :)
I love this workshop so much i've been using it for so long!
I've seen another comment say it but i think it would be awsome if a Rein was shattering you and you had to self petal quickly.
Also for mauga cagefight i would add adding tree under petal to the cage fight thingy doesn't fall and gets stuck on tree.

Thank you for the kind words! I'm currently ideating a similar Rein level that plays intuitively. Updates might be a little slower than usual since new heroes (and their kits) aren't particularly counterable/interactive as Weaver. I didn't know about the tree/cagefight one! Will have to test it out first and see if it's something I can incorporate in the future. Thanks again!
Heya! I've been loving this workshop. Something I would love to have is placing a petal for shatter. Either placing the petal so that Rein's shatter only lands on it or placing the petal preemptively so you are lifted up when stunned. I'm not sure how that would be coding wise but thank you you are doing gods work <3
Thanks for the love! Blocking Shatter with Petal Platform can be difficult to code since it requires ult tracking and a clear view of the actual team fight. Although I do think there's room for the latter (I've also been thinking about this since it can be quite consistent to pull off) so I'm hopeful it may make it in the next update. Another Venture idea would be cancelling burrow damage with petal, Ive found this somewhat useful and definitely fun to do in my games. I could show you how the mechanic works if you're unaware of it. Also blocking Rein shatter with tree is something Ive had to practice quite a bit and having it in this mode would have made that much easier.
Updated! Venture level should be up now. Blocking Reinhardt's Shatter in this mode can be challenging to code since I personally think it mostly requires ult tracking (and many more factors like mind games between real players, etc.) which the game mode cannot offer in a short round unfortunately. Regardless, thanks for the suggestions as always. :)
Could you add a counter for the times I've succeeded in the sigma flux petal cancel level when practicing? It would be a nice QoL addition. Also, I'm loving this mode, it's really useful!

Thanks for the suggestions! I may do a separate special level for his heal mechanics in the future but that may take some time just to make sure I don't break the code. I think I do know the venture burrow mechanic but I find it quite situational but who knows - might make it in the next update! Thanks again. :)
Maybe a mode where you have to kill a burrowing venture with a D.Va bomb or something like that?

The Survive self destruct with no dashing and using the petal as an umbrella seems kinda useless no matter what dva still destroys me how are you supposed to use the petal as an umbrella she seems to blow up and kill you regardless no matter where your petal is or where your standing
Hey there! Thanks for playing the mode. That level demands some practice for sure! What I would usually do is wait until she ejects herself and then look for the mech’s trajectory. I then place the petal under me once the mech is about to go off and immediately step off the petal ever so slightly so it raises right over me. Hope that helps! :)
This is so thoughtfully done. I genuinely improved in just 15 minutes of practicing some of your scenarios and learning from the tips. Saved a teammate from a rip-tire with grip in my very next game, because that timing had been drilled into me by the Junkrat scenario.

Hey there! For the Mei Petal, you are supposed to bring your frozen ally up. Correct me if I'm wrong but I've tested the Mei Ult Up interaction myself while writing this workshop and it seems no longer working. It used to but I'm assuming that changed when they adjusted the Petal Platform's activation radius a few patches ago.
Those are really nice suggestions! The Pharah one was supposed to come with the release of the workshop but I'm still working on how to code the level so it's not easily exploitable. The PP+LG combo interactions like the ones you mentioned are already in the works! The petal covering sym turrets I'll be happy to implement if I can confirm it still works (a few of the old interactions don't work anymore like covering Ashe's dynamite)! Both the LG and ToL sections are getting more levels soon so please stay tuned!
