Air Battles is a gamemode made just for that. Flying heroes (and some that can get in the air) fight in a deathmatch, or teams if you change it, all in the sky. Don't touch the ground, or you'll take damage. Current maps are Expanse and Island (including night versions) and current heroes and changes are as follow:
- Health is doubled;
- Gravity is reduced to 25%.
- Coach gun cooldown reduced from 10 seconds to 1 second;
- Coach gun knockback on self reduced to 75% and on enemy to 50%;
- Dynamite cooldown reduced from 12 to 9 seconds;
- Ultimate Bob lasts forever, but won't server much on maps like island.
- Booster now have no cooldown;
- Micro Missiles cooldown reduced from 8 to 4.8 seconds;
- Ultimate Self-Destruct enabled.
Note: When D.va De-Mechs, she'll die instantly.
- Rocket Punch has no cooldown;
- Rising Uppercut cooldown reduced from 6 to 1.2 seconds;
- Ultimate Meteor Strike is disabled.
- Flight cooldown reduced from 6 to 1.5 seconds;
- Focusing beam cooldown reduced from 8 to 4 seconds;
- Sticky bombs cooldown reduced from 6 to 0.6 seconds;
- Ultimate Duplicate enabled.
- Concussion mine charge cooldown reduced from 8 to 1.6 seconds;
- Concussion mine knockback is now 90%;
- Steel trap is disabled as there is no use for it;
- Ultimate Rip-Tire disabled as there is no use for it.
- Concussive Blast cooldown reduced from 9 to 4.5 seconds;
- Hover Jets maximum time and recharge ratee doubled;
- Jump Jets acceleration reduced to 75%;
- Primary attack projectile speed increased to 500%;
- Ultimate Rocket Barrage enabled.
- Barrier Projector cooldown reduced from 9 to 2.25 seconds;
- Jump Pack acceleration reduced to 50%;
- Jump Pack cooldown reduced to 25%;
- Ultimate Primal Rage enabled.
