Surive endless waves of an increasingly powerful army of Reinhardts coming at your team. Now with random modifiers, prettier effects and intermission trivia!
- Number of Reinhardts (default is 14) and ability unlocks are customizable through workshop settings. If you increase number of Reins, make sure to decrease lobby size.

Hi, the Workshop for OW2 is now back since the latest update.
I wanted to take this opportunity to ask about something in particular regarding this mode. It's an "issue" in the sense that I just cannot see in the Workshop where this 'effect' could be coming from.
So, during gameplay, it's relatively frequent that at some point a player in the match (me, or anyone else playing with me) will - for some unknown reason - become "Golden", and will constantly self-heal extremely fast. There's a sort of "golden" aura around the character and this 'effect' sticks with the player who happens to be affected by it, even if the player does die; the effect sticks even after death and becoming another Hero.
I wanted to know why this effect happens in the first place? And if it it possible to remove it entirely? (If so, where would that part of the mode be located in the Workshop?)
Thanks.
Oh, this is the "Baptiste Immortality Field Protected Effect". It happens whenever a hero is protected, indicating they have extra damage resistance, not really e heal. It is activated by most rules under the "GIMMICKS" grayed-out rule. You'll have to look around for Create Effect actions that make it pop and disable them.
Thank you very much! I'll look into it.
What are all the characters upgrade buffs like for eg rein fire strike gets explosive
I assume you meant to comment on Rein Invasion 2. Play and find out :)
Completely unplayable due to rampant restarts due to: "The server closed due to excessive Workshop script load". I have noticed that anytime the player count rises above 5 or 6 players. The server 95% of the time will crash with this message popping up. You can always tell it is about to happen because all the other players and bots will fly away to the edge of the creation box in 1 second. Then 1 second later it crashes.
Something is seriously messed up with this game mode and needs fixed. Because since OW2 dropped I have been trying to play this mode in the Custom Lobbies, and have only successfully finished 1 full round due to this error. It quite literally makes it unplayable.
UPDATE: I made my own lobby and made it about 60% of the way with only 6 players allowed in the lobby. Towards the end, the same issue occurred. At present, this is just unplayable in my mind. There could be hundreds of lobbies open for this. But do to it not working, no one wants to create a lobby for it.
Overwatch 2 workshop is a mess. Most modes are broken and only the simple ones are really enjoyable. There isn't much to do about it. I also can't do anything since the editor is unavailable. I'm sorry :(
Hi. I don't know if this will ever be read by the author of this mode but I have questions:
1) There's a lot of waves without a Modifier (majority of them without).
2) Is there a way to dictate in the code what type of Modifier should happen in every wave?
3) If not, then is there any way to increase the chance of a particular type of Modifier to be applied? For example, the Tiny & Fast Modifier is extremely rare, sometimes I got a whole 80 Waves without it ever happening.
If it would be possible to do any of the above please let me know, thank you.
Thanks for the comment!
Modifiers have only a chance of happening, and some have more chances than others since they're the most fun ones. I haven't looked at the code for ages, so I can't point you to the specific part where these chances are treated. But they are modifiable, yes.
Very good upgrade for my very simply mode
Thank you, your idea was pretty fun :)
