Bodacious OW2 Patch (Hero Reworks)

Largest changes:

Moved from 6v6 to 5v5 (1 tank 2 dps 2 support)
Reworked respawning system, base respawn time reduced from 10 to 8 seconds, consecutive deaths now slightly affect respawn times to decrease snowballs
Passive ultimate charge generation increased by 20%

Role Passives

Supports now regenerate 10 health per second after not taking damage for 2 seconds

Tanks now have damage reduction based on the amount of enemies shooting at them (10% per additional target)

Mercy Rework


  • Moved back to Ultimate
  • Remains single target, no longer has a cast time
  • Once completed, you will have a 15 second window to perform another Resurrect
  • Each use resets the cooldown of Guardian Angel
  • Targets are revived at half health, and recover the rest over 10 seconds

Torchbearer: New E ability

  • 20 second cooldown
  • Cooldown recharges twice as fast for 10 seconds after using Resurrect, as long as the resurrected target is alive
  • Upon activation, heals all allies within 15 meters by half of their missing health, and cleanses them of stuns
  • Enemies within LoS will have their damage reduced by 50% for 2.25 seconds
  • Briefly allows usage of Guardian Angel with no target

Bastion Rework (based on OW2)

Configuration: Sentry

  • No longer prevents movement
  • Drains 20 ammo per second while in use (in addition to ammo usage), ends when running out of ammo (cannot reload)
  • Damage decreased by 30%
  • Now has a 10s cooldown
  • Damage reduction replaced with 100 armor
  • Transforming back into Recon is now instant

Configuration: Artillery

  • Replaces Configuration: Tank
  • Shoot 3 spots on the map from an overhead view to drop artillery strikes that deal 300 damage in a 6 meter radius


Storm Bow

  • Headshot damage reduced from 250 to 180. now grants 2 Storm Arrows


  • Cooldown reduced from 5 to 3s

Storm Arrows

  • Changed from a single cooldown of 5 arrows to a charge system of 8 arrows, recharging 1 every 2 seconds.
  • Now requires a continuous button hold (Moved from Ability 2 to Secondary Fire)
  • Damage reduced from 70 to 49

Combat Roll

  • Cooldown now decreases by 0.5 seconds per headshot
  • Distance increased by 20% while on the ground


  • Now is a root (prevents movement but not shooting or non-movement abilities, still interrupts most abilities)


  • Now grants 100 temorary health


Experimental Barrier

  • Instead of a recharging barrier, it's now a cooldown ability, with a max duration of 1.75 seconds after being placed; cooldown is 7 seconds

New Passive: Hold jump to reduce your gravity to 0, slightly increase projectile and move speed (on a resource meter)

Kinetic Grasp

  • Cooldown decreased from 12 to 10s


  • Long range directs now decrease the cooldown by 3 seconds and make Sigma say his Yes voice line (YEP rock)


Sleep Dart

  • Cooldown reduced from 12 to 10s
  • Cooldown now starts when the target wakes up (only if you land a close range sleep)
  • Added icon on slept targets that your whole team can see through walls

Brigitte: Disabled


He no longer needs as much healing.

Health changed from 200 health to 75 health + 100 shields


  • Damage increased from 29 to 30
  • Projectile speed increased from 60 to 80m/s

Swift Strike

  • Cooldown decreased from 8 to 6s
  • No longer interrupts reloading


  • Cost decreased by 16%
  • Now uses a third person camera (can be reverted by pressing Interact)
  • No longer affected by damage amplification

Health increased by 25 shields


Health reduced from 300 to 225, armor from 200 to 150, now has 125 shields (500 total)

Barrier Field

  • Health decreased from 1600 to 1200
  • Recharge rate increased from 200 to 300

Rocket Hammer

  • Damage decreased from 85 to 75


  • Damage decreased from 100 to 75
  • Projectile speed increased by 100%
  • Now has 2 charges


  • Damage decreased from 300 to 225
  • Can now be cancelled


Overall damage decreased by 20%


  • Cooldown increased from 4 to 5s

Micro Missiles

  • Projectile speed increased from 40 to 50m/s

Defense Matrix

  • Max capacity increased from 2 to 3 seconds
  • Recharge rate reduced by 20%


Immortality Field

  • Cooldown increased from 25 to 30s

Regenerative Burst

  • Cooldown decreased from 13 to 10s

Amplification Matrix

  • Duration reduced from 10 to 6s
  • Cost decreased by 16%



  • Now calls out abilities on cooldown on text when used
  • Cooldown increased from 8 to 10s

Soldier: 76

Heavy Pulse Rifle

  • Ammo decreased from 30 to 25

Biotic Field

  • Cooldown decreased from 15 to 13s


  • Now gains 4 ammo per second while in use


Widow's Kiss (scoped)

  • Headshot multiplier decreased from 2.5x to 2x
  • Headshot kills now decrease cooldowns by 2 seconds


Primal Rage

  • Now gains an additional 200 temporary health
