Thnx8 — Strafe Fork
Original map is thnx8 by *Arissi *
This is a fork by Montana to have strafing include looking in all directions as a Setting, and to have strafes be harder and more realistic.
What's Changed?
- Setting (0-10) For how many bots at a time will be offset (not directly looking at the player), 0 means disabling this. Offsets are great cause ingame on flanks people will almost never directly look at you if unaware
- Strafes are completely reworked and now move like actual players
- Movement is directly based on a Player Movement Trained Dataset and would converge to the strafe timing distribution a Player has ingame.
- Currently trained on good Soldier 1v1 dodge data
- 4 Different Difficulty Modes
- Vaxta Movement
- Normal Realistic Movement (modelled after master strafes)
- Thnx8 Movement
- Hard Realistic Movement (Modelled after hardcore soldier 1v1 strafes ## Panick Strafe Setting
Panick strafe % setting changes: Now defaults to 0.5
Panick Strafe has been reworked: Everytime you damage a bot, the bot decides with the chance of the setting, wether or not to change direction, AND turn to you (incase it isnt already looking at you) with a 70% chance, if the decision is made it happens with the latency of human reaction time (300 ms on average). Then afterwards it will stick with that decision for 300ms, and if you damage it again after that window it will change direction agaiin with that chance
TLDR: Bots are Reactive like real players now.
I recommend you play vaxta or normal strafes with this setting set to something like 0.8 for the most realistic scenario.
