Run From Rein [Remastered]

Mode:

This is a remaster/retake/remix on an original mode called Bullrush, but mainly known as Run From Rein or RFR. The main game mode was back in Overwatch 1. This was very popular before and had many takes on the mode, RFR is now officially dead and wasn't popular, I decided to make this Remaster version for RFR, which now is the official version of RFR as no other version gets played or is fully dead.

How The Mode Works:

Objectives/Gimmicks:

• The Runners

  • Each runner (not a Reinhardt/chaser) who picks their hero gets a certain kit with that hero, they have their info at the top left of the screen as well, each hero has a different playstyle to try to reach the other side of the map to the safe zone, a runner will win if only one is alive and they make it to the safe zone, getting hit will convert you into a chaser.
  • You can screw over other runners by knocking them from the safe zone or preventing them from reaching it in any way, OR you can help them out and make the game last longer by being a nice dude.

• The Chasers

  • The Initial Chaser gets a buff for being the randomly chosen one first (if the initial chaser leaves, a new one gets picked or selected if other chasers are there too). The Buffs include a bigger size, longer shatter range, and IFrames from the shatter as well.
  • All Chasers objectives are to convert all runners into chasers by hitting them with your hammer. The firestrike slows down any runner hit as well.
  • The Initial Chaser gets additional points if all runners are converted

• The Events:

  • Workshop Toggleable Option
  • These events appear randomly that can miss up or mix up how an scenario can happen, they are chosen randomly and not selected by the people at all. There are a multitude of events that can happen throughout the game: Fog Event, Stun Event, Crazy Sens, Inverted Controls, Fireworks Event.
