The goal of this mode is to easily show how the cursor can be constructed, as well as reducing the number of unknown values mentioned in the article. The only unknown (3/Global.SCALE) seems to be an arbitrary value. In the event that it's determined, I will update this code.
The cursor is located on the right side of the screen when the mode starts.
