I have encountered a little problem with the "177" fishs we are supposed to get : i took a lot of time getting all of the blue, then yellow, then green, purple, red, black, pink fishs which i all got. But then, it said to catch Jokerz blue fish, and i got it, so i was at 176/177 fishs, but the "Fish not caught' thing was empty. I believe i finished the game cause i cant find any fish more, is it an error of counting or an invisible fish ?
I'm playing the latest version with 177 fish, and after I caught a fish then sold it and bought the line upgrade for 30k, I am no longer able to fish. I can still spectate, but left clicking on the fishing spot does not let me fish. I had to rejoin the game mode. Had 46 fish caught. I tried dying, pressing interact, left and right click, all my keys. Both on and off the fishing spot. No luck.
I'm not sure how to reproduce this unfortunately. In the meantime, maybe if there's any variable that defines the player as "fishing = true", that could be set to false upon death? As a band-aid for people that are affected by this?
Thanks! Just an FYI, I was just playing the mode again for 20 minutes and in that time, 1 person with over 100 fish was also stuck not being able to fish. And another person had just joined, hadn't caught any fish, but couldn't fish either. Seems like it's not just me with the bug.
I haven't been affected by this bug in the version with 59 fish.
Edit: I just got hit by this bug again. It happened when I was reeling in my fish and left clicked just as I finished reeling it in. I never started fishing and wasn't able to fish afterwards. I'm having difficulty reproducing it still, but it seems like it may be related to trying to start fishing at the same time as you finish reeling in your rod.
Looked into the issue a bit more. Modded a version that sets isFishing to false when the player dies. It didn't immediately fix the issue, but it helped diagnose what I think it is.
It looks like sometimes when you start fishing, the fishing rod is thrown and all that logic seems to work. But the camera is still pointing on the player. I thiiink the bug is that it rarely doesn't ever switch the player's camera to the fishing rod.
Most of the times I ran into the bug, holding shift+right click to reel in the rod all the way did successfully reel it in. Then left clicking started fishing normally again, with my camera pointing to the rod like it should.
I did find I could reproduce the issue numerous times, albeit still rarely, by spamming left+right clicking right at the time of throwing the line or finishing reeling it in.

The fish that is in quest isn't spawning at all
You need to keep clearing them till they spawn 1 out. It’s all rng based, get friends to help catch em out for u
