Overcringe Playtest 1

Welcome to the first playtest of Overcringe!

Patch notes located below may not be reflective of current in-game changes. Please refer to the in-game change reader to see the most up-to-date changes.

Heroes not listed below are NOT included in the playtest. They will not have changes if enabled.

Tank

Doomfist

After years of Power Blocking, he finally broke the gauntlet.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 400 health, 100 armor.

Hand Cannon
  • No longer has an ammo requirement.

Rocket Punch
  • Move speed reduced to 10% while punching.

  • Deals 200% more knockback.

  • Has a small delay before you can move after punching.

Seismic Slam
  • Travel speed increased by 250%.

Power Block
  • Knocks an enemy in front of Doomfist down for 1 second.

Meteor Strike
  • Knocks enemies in the blast radius away.

  • Doomfist can now be seen by all players while using.

Junker Queen

Royalty do not have to obey the laws of physics.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 400 health, 100 armor.

Jagged Blade
  • Drops out of Junker Queen's hand on use instead of being thrown.

  • When pulled, Junker Queen will move towards the knife.

  • Junker Queen will phase through walls to get to the knife.

Commanding Shout
  • Now damages nearby enemies for 25% of their current health.

Carnage
  • Cooldown removed.

  • Movement speed reduced by 50% while in use.

  • Missing Carnage will now deal 200 damage to Junker Queen.

Rampage
  • Now drops mines as Junker Queen charges forward.

Mauga

He's been struggling recently. He misses Baptiste.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 400 health, 200 armor.

Overrun
  • Enemies near Mauga during Overrun are set on fire.

Cardiac Overdrive
  • Now gives Mauga a heart attack if he does not deal 200 damage after use.

  • Increases Mauga's movespeed by 25% while active.

Cage Fight
  • Makes Mauga invulnerable.

  • Forces Mauga to emote while active.

Orisa

Orisa isn't mobile enough.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 200 health, 300 armor.

Energy Javelin
  • Orisa now throws herself alongside the Javelin.

Fortify
  • Now grants Orisa 500 Overhealth.

  • Roots Orisa to the ground while active.

Javelin Spin
  • Pulls enemies towards Orisa while active.

  • Grants Orisa forward facing flight while active.

Terra Surge
  • Grants teammates nearby Orisa Overhealth while charging.

Ramattra

Now Ram is truly a dive tank!

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 200 health, 250 shields.

Void Barrier (Omnic Form)
  • Holding right click to create a barrier will grant Ramattra a 50% speed boost.

Nemesis Form
  • Shield health in Omnic Form is removed while active

  • Jump Height while in Nemesis Form increased by 200%.

Ravenous Vortex
  • Enemies are slingshotted upward when they leave the radius of the vortex.

Annihilation
  • Movement speed in Annihilation reduced by 50%.

  • Grants Ramattra an additional 250 armor.

  • Pummel and Ravenous Vortex are disabled while in use.

  • Damage dealt increased by 200%.

  • Duration increased to 6 seconds.

Roadhog

Roadhog has been juicing.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 450 health, 150 armor.

Take a Breather
  • Move speed increased by 25% while in use.

Pig Pen
  • Replaced with New Ability: Belly Flop

  • Roadhog jumps and slams on the ground, creating a damaging blast that increases with height

  • Stuns enemies Roadhog directly lands on.

Whole Hog
  • Sends Roadhog Backward while firing.

New Passive: Stank
  • Enemies near Roadhog take damage that slowly increases over time.

Sigma

Seriously, what is that melody?

General Changes
  • No longer affected by gravity.

  • Control height by using Jump to go up and Crouch to go down.

Kinetic Grasp
  • Pulls a closeby enemy towards the black hole,

  • trapping them and allowing Sigma to move them around.

Accretion
  • Sends hit enemies toward Sigma.

Gravitic Flux
  • Enemies bounce upon landing.

Winston

Guxue's Dream

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 300 health, 200 armor.

Tesla Cannon
  • Secondary Fire Jumps between enemies, up to 5 times.

  • Jumped attacks deal 50% less damage each jump.

Jump Pack
  • Deals 100 extra damage to any enemies you land directly on.

  • Cooldown during Primal Rage removed.

Primal Rage
  • Press Secondary Fire to shoot out asmall bouncy ball that can knock enemies away.

Damage

Ashe

Ashe realized B.O.B couldn't do everything.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 175 health.

Dynamite
  • Players hit by Dynamite are now knocked back slightly.

New Passive: Head Hunter
  • When Ashe earns an elimination,

  • Coach Gun's cooldown will be reduced by 2 seconds.

Bastion

Torbjorn gave him some good upgrades!

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 150 health, 125 armor.

Configuration: Recon
  • No longer has falloff.

Configuration: Assault
  • Cooldown removed

  • No longer able to jump while active.

  • Duration still limited to 6 seconds.

  • Move speed penalty while active removed.

  • Bastion is now stationary while casting

  • Sideways movement speed while active reduced by 50%

A-36 Tactical Grenade
  • No longer deals damage to self.

  • Knockback scalar increased by 25%.

Cassidy

'Realism'

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 175 health, 50 armor.

Peacekeeper
  • Shooting Fan the Hammer knocks Cassidy back slightly.

Combat Roll
  • Now sends Cassidy in the direction he is facing.

New Passive: Marksman
  • Killing an enemy with a headshot grants Cassidy a 25% speed boost for 2 seconds.

Genji

We Nerfed Genj- Wait, what do you mean we buffed him?

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 150 health, 50 armor.

Swift Strike
  • Damage received reduced by 50% while using.

  • Applies a 25 damage/sec bleed on hit. Lasts 2 seconds.

Deflect
  • Deflected damage heals Genji for 50% of the damage dealt.

Dragonblade
  • Deflect cooldown while in use removed.

Hanzo

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 200 health.

Storm Bow
  • No longer deal headshot damage.

  • Base damage increased to 125.

Storm Arrows
  • No longer deals headshot damage.

Lunge
  • Cooldown removed

  • Casting Lunge deals 10 damage to Hanzo.

  • Being 10 HP or less makes Hanzo unable to jump.

Junkrat

Junkrat takes skill, right?

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 200 health.

Frag Launcher
  • Deals 25% more damage to players launched by Concussion Mine.

Steel Trap
  • Now sets the victim on fire for 3 seconds, dealing 25 damage/sec.

RIP-Tire
  • Tire health increased by 200%, tire move speed reduced by 75%.

  • Junkrat now turns into the RIP-Tire and respawns after exploding.

  • RIP-Tire now does 75% less damage, and applies a 5 second 100 damage/sec fire effect on all hit enemies.

Reaper

Reaper feels bad for the environment.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 200 health, 50 armor.

Hellfire Shotguns
  • Ammo requirement removed.

Wraith Form
  • Reaper's gravity while active reduced to 50%

Shadow Step
  • Now deals 50 damage to anyone Reaper teleports on top of.

Death Blossom
  • Shoots out 25 damage projectiles in every direction while active.

The Reaping
  • Teammates now drop soul orbs upon death.

  • Only reaper can collect them.

  • Soul orbs heal Reaper for 25 health.

Venture

They dug it.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 225 health.

SMART Excavator
  • Self-knockback heavily increased.

Burrow
  • Launching out of the ground now also launches teammates.

Support

Mei

How does an cryogenics-based character not have healing?

General Changes
  • Hero moved to Support Role

  • Health pool changed to 225 health.

New Passive: Ice Glide
  • Mei and players near Mei receive a 10% speed boost.

Endothermic Blaster
  • Primary Fire Now heals teammates for 90 hp/sec

  • Primary Fire DPS reduced to 50/sec.

Cryo-Freeze
  • Applies a 3 second 25 hp/sec heal to nearby teammates on use.

Ice Wall
  • Wall health reduced by 50%.

Blizzard
  • Moves with Mei, instead of being stationary. Heals teammates for 100 hp/sec

  • No longer freezes or damages enemies, instead slows enemies by 20%.

  • Increases the radius of Ice Glide by 12 meters, increases the speed boost of Ice Glide by 20%.

  • Lasts 6 seconds.

Ana

Faster Bullets hurt... faster? I guess?

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 200 health.

Biotic Rifle
  • Damage while scoping in increased by 10%

Biotic Grenade
  • Now slows targets by 15% for the duration of the anti-heal effect.

Nano-Boost
  • Nano-Boost applies a 125% speed boost on the targetted player.

New Passive: Granny's Bedtime Story
  • Emoting next to a sleeping player grants Ana a 50 HP overhealth pool.

Baptiste

The ultimate Combat Medic

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 175 health, 25 armor

Immortality Field
  • Cooldown reduced to 16 seconds.

  • Now follows Baptiste around instead of being thrown.

  • Baptiste is not affected by Immortality Field.

  • Duration reduced to 4 seconds.

  • Teammate HP threshold reduced to 1 HP

Exo Boots
  • Jump strength doubled.

Amplification Matrix
  • Grants Baptiste aimbot while in use.

Brigitte

OH YEAH? YOU COMPLAINED ABOUT TANKY SUPPORTS, HUH?

Barrier Shield
  • Shield health increased by 250

  • Move Speed Penalty while shielding removed

Shield Bash
  • Removed

Repair Pack
  • Grants heal target a 25 HP Overhealth pool if they are not full health

Rally
  • Shield Health Doubled

Kiriko

More mobility creep? Come on...

General Changes
  • Base move speed increased by 10%.

Swift Step
  • Creates a small explosion that deals 25 on use.

Wall Climb
  • Kiriko can now double jump.

Lucio

We really dropped the beat on this one.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 150 health, 50 shields.

Soundwave
  • Knocks Lucio backward on use.

Amp It Up
  • Causes all enemies' ears to bleed, dealing 25 damage/sec for 3 seconds.

Sound Barrier
  • Knocks all enemy players in the radius upward.

Moira

If you want to deal damage as a Support in ranked, don't go Kiriko. Go Moira.

General Changes
  • Health pool changed to 200 health.

Fade
  • Now makes all teammates near Moira intangible.

Biotic Orb
  • No longer moves.

Coalescence
  • Knocks enemies away.
