A 100% accurate look into the minds of Activision Bl*zzard. (sorry they won't let me write the actual name) At its core, the gamemode is a mirrored Mystery Heroes like Jokaes's Dicewatch (https://workshop.codes/HGR2C), where both teams play the same set of 6 heroes. If you get a hero you can't play, sucks to be you I guess.
The real meat of the gameplay is what happens in it, though. Every minute or so, a Balance Beacon™, theorized to be the gaze of Jeff Himself, will appear. Stepping in it will either buff or nerf your hero for both you and the enemy who's playing your hero. The exact balance changes, just like Bl*zzard's actual balance changes, are a complete mystery. I can say though, that the changed stats are:
- Projectile speed
There's also the chance for a complete rework...
Made in the EloHell Workshop Jam, created by Zomg.
- The hero you play is dependant on your slot, so as players join and leave, a team might find themselves playing completely different heroes than the enemy team. This is not a problem when no players leave during the game.
- Different types of beacons
- Actual changelogs
