Hello People! Eversince I picked Overwatch back up I wanted to make a workshop creation and now its finally back for Overwatch 2.
Goal
FFA Deathmatch. First one to 40 points wins, Hanzo only. Resembles Bountyhunter gamemode.
Twist
All abilities are initially locked and can be gradually unlocked by earning kills.
Additionally, players evolve gaining 100 max health and 100 shields and a 160% damage multiplier partway through. All progress is lost upon death.
- Sonic Arrow at 1 kill
- Evolve at 3 kills
- Storm Arrows at 6 kills
- Dragon Strike at 10 kills
Evolving is a key mechanic that makes players significantly stronger, but also puts a target on their back. The more kills someone gets in a row, the more their head is worth.
Further development
I think this concept works well and doesn't have to be locked to Hanzo only. I just need to add a skill unlock order to new characters. I'll do it when I get to it.
