So, there is a treasure at the end of the map.

It's always a random treasure, so it's not always the revival of various random extinct species- it could be the love of your life, or a time travel machine, or a mysterious potion that you have no idea the side effects of.

You have GOT to get your hands on this treasure. If you're playing by yourself, you just have to bring the treasure back to spawn, but if you're playing with friends or randoms, you have to bring back the treasure before any of the other players do.

However, there are mercenaries all across the map trying to prevent anyone from getting this treasure!

Disclaimer: they are not normally all at the end of the map like this, I just put them there to get a better screenshot.

These mercenaries are absolutely everywhere, and they will do their very best to kill you the moment they can see you. They are VERY POWERFUL; do not underestimate them or you will lose every last health point you have in just a couple seconds!

Every hero is able to spawn as a mercenary, (except baptiste, genji, juno, and winston - I have my reasons for this) and they all attack you in different ways and require a different strategy to get past. Unless you want to just naively run past all of them, but good luck.

You are given quite a lot of health, but there is NO NATURAL REGENERATION OR HEALTH PACKS, so be very careful! If you're low on health and desperately need more, killing a mercenary grants you with some bonus health points.

Once you get to the end and reach the treasure, you have to take it all the way back to spawn. The treasure is dropped if you get knocked down, hacked, or die, so try not to let any of that happen!

If someone else has the treasure and they bring it back to spawn, then they win and you don't. Obviously you don't want that to happen, because then you didn't win. Instead, if you punch the player with the treasure, then they'll so kindly drop the treasure for you! How generous.

If you feel like the game is too easy or too hard for your taste, not to worry! There are plenty of settings to change to make sure the game plays how you like it to. You can change how long the game runs for, how much health you have, how the mercenaries behave, and whether you actually need to bring the treasure back to spawn.

Alternatively, if you don't like any of those settings, there is also the PAIN category of settings. I can only wish you serious amounts of luck if you plan to play with any of those on. Consider that your warning for these settings!
