Bloodsport? More like bloodsupport! This FFA Deathmatch only allows support heroes, and allows only one of each hero at once.

In a standard free-for-all, support heroes see much of their potential wasted. This mode retools their kits to better fit the format, including finding new uses for abilities that normally wouldn't do anything without someone to target.

Hero Changes


  • Max health decreased from 200 to 175
  • Biotic Rifle clip size increased from 12 to 15
  • Damaging a sleeping enemy restores 50 health to Ana
  • Self-healing from Biotic Grenade reduced from 100 to 60
  • Biotic Grenade launches Ana backwards if she is within its splash radius
  • All ultimate generation increased by 40%


  • Biotic Launcher clip sizes reduced from 45/10 to 36/8
  • Biotic Launcher alternate fire is now a bomb which deals 20 damage in a 3 meter radius and an additional 20 damage in a 0.5 meter radius
  • Baptiste cannot use a second alternate fire until his previous bomb has detonated, for technical reasons
  • Baptiste does not gain credit for kills while he is inside his Immortality Field
  • All ultimate generation increased by 40%


  • Hit points redistributed from 150 Health/50 Armor to 100 Health/100 Armor
  • Jump vertical speed increased by 10%
  • Inspire healing reduced from 15/s to 12/s
  • Barrier Shield health reduced from 250 to 150
  • Rush Pack replaces Repair Pack: Brigitte gains a 50% movement speed boost for 1.5 seconds
  • Whip Shot pulls rather than pushes while Rush Pack is active
  • Repair Pack cooldown increased from 6 s to 10 s per charge
  • Gain 75% knockback resist while Rally is active
  • All ultimate generation increased by 40%


  • Health reduced from 200 to 150
  • Sonic Amplifier projectile speed increased from 50 m/s to 60 m/s
  • Soundwave knockback increased from 17 m/s to 18.7 m/s
  • Healing from Crossfade increases exponentially, increasing by 60% per 1.5 seconds until health is fully restored
  • Speed boost from Crossfade increases by 12% per 1.5 seconds, up to a maximum of 160% normal speed
  • Boosted healing & speed reset after taking damage or switching Crossfade state
  • Apply knockback to all enemies within 12 meters when using Sound Barrier, with force increasing closer to Lúcio (between 9 m/s and 21 m/s)
  • All ultimate generation increased by 40%


  • Regeneration decreased from 20/s to 8/s while Caduceus Blaster is drawn
  • Regeneration returns to normal after having Caduceus Staff drawn for 2 seconds
  • Caduceus Blaster damage increased from 20 to 24
  • Caduceus Blaster clip size increased from 20 to 24
  • Ascending Angel replaces Guardian Angel: Mercy flies forward in the direction she's facing; distance and speed increased during Valkyrie
  • Guardian Angel cooldown increased from 1.5 s to 7.5 s
  • Resurrection can now be used to instantly revive Mercy; she is invincible and stunned for 1 second
  • All ultimate generation increased by 40%


  • Biotic Grasp primary fire now heals Moira for 35 per second while held
  • Biotic Grasp secondary fire self-healing reduced by 99%
  • Biotic energy maximum decreased by 37%
  • Biotic energy restoration rate decreased by 95%
  • Biotic Grasp resource starts empty when spawning
  • Primary fire is disabled when health is full
  • Biotic Orb cooldown increased from 8 to 10 seconds
  • Biotic Orb projectile speed increased from 20 m/s to 27 m/s, or 5.5 m/s to 7.425 m/s when tethered
  • Biotic Orb healing reduced from 300 to 150
  • See enemy outlines through walls when damaging them with Biotic Orb
  • All ultimate generation increased by 40%


  • Health reduced from 200 to 150
  • Machine Pistol clip size reduced from 60 to 30
  • Machine Pistol damage increased from 8 to 12 per shot when EMP is active
  • EMP immediately reloads Machine Pistol
  • Gain ultimate charge when healing from hacked health packs equal to 50% of healing done
  • Combat ultimate charge increased by 25%
  • No passive ultimate charge

Symmetra's not done yet.


  • Orb of Destruction damage reduced from 48 to 36 per orb
  • Zenyatta gains 10 temporary shields on a standard hit or 20 on a critical; shields immediately decay at 10 per second
  • Orb of Humility replaces Orb of Harmony: an orb placed on an enemy which reduces damage and healing by 25%
  • Orb of Humility is mutually exclusive with Orb of Discord; placing one returns the other
  • Both orbs display the health bar of the target in the HUD
  • Due to how Orb of Humility was implemented, I had to re-do Orb of Discord; the health bar display is different as a result
  • Deal 20 damage per second to enemies within 10 meters while Transcendence is active
  • Combat ultimate charge increased by 33%
  • All ultimate generation further increased by 40%

Doveloper's Comments: In the initial playtest, Ana was a bit too vulnerable when someone closed into melee range. While my original response was to give her a bit of extra health, I decided to instead take a more interesting approach which leans more into her niche as a sniper. This change replaces the flashy-but-impractical area sleep dart with a flashy-but-practical mobility and disengaging tool. I'll keep a close eye on how this affects the ability's counterplay.
