Point Boundaries

Displays precise Control Point boundaries. A spiritual successor to my previous mode Control Point Boundaries.

Note: Contestable area of every control point in the game is built from a bunch of invisible boxes, usually intersecting with each other. Because of that (and because of Workshop limitations), sometimes it might be difficult to tell which spots are contestable or not, or where the boundary starts or ends. To partially remedy that, in the menu you can toggle visibility of every box, and even create diagonal lines for each face of the box, which should, at least partially, help you make sense of these boundaries.

Compared to my other mode Point Mapper - which maps an outline of control points at runtime - this mode displays the entire boundaries of control points based on data extracted directly from the game with DataTool. Because of that, when a new Overwatch patch is released with a new map or with changes to point boundaries, it might take a few days for it to be updated. Until then, you can use Point Mapper instead. In any case, when any new additions or changes to the point boundaries have been introduced, they will be announced under Update log.

Are Stadium maps supported?

No, primarily because Workshop isn't supported in Stadium

A new map with control point(s) has been released, when's the update?

Patience is virtue... until then, use Point Mapper instead

The ticking noise is getting on my nerves, can I disable it?

Nope. You can mute the game instead... But, speaking from experience, after 10+ hours you'll get used to it 😜

This is your 3rd mode about control point boundaries... Are you okay?

Not really, no... But I promise, this will be the last one! Or at least I hope so...

Big shoutout to the DataTool team for their hard work.
