Run from the killer (Dead by daylight)

"Run from the killer" is a 1v6 horror mode based on the Dead by Daylight. This is a very team-based mode in which defeating the killer depends on saving your teammates with your abilities

Survivors must extract oil 5 times to win the round. The killer must kill all survivors before that time. Survivors have a long cooldown on their abilities for balance. The Killer needs to hit a Survivor with a melee attack twice for them to die

This Overwatch workshop mode is very simple and can be used for learning if you're new to Overwatch Workshop. Despite this, this mode is very fun if you want a simple and fun way to spend time with friends

Unfortunately, looking at the current custom modes that people play, I have completely lost the motivation to continue working on this mode. I really wanted to add more heroes, more maps, and balance. Jump pads on some maps are just for fun. But now I just see and understand that it simply won't make sense because no one will play my mode anyway. I wanted to create something really interesting, simple and team-driven but now idk

That's not the only reason. The Overwatch workshop itself surprises me. It's been 8 years since Overwatch Workshop was released. Are the developers improving it at all? Why can't I specify a character's health as a number? I want to give Juno 200 HP, but I can only give her 199 or 201 HP... Why can't I just completely remove the character's shields from the health bar? Why can't I specify the exact damage a certain ability will do?I'm sure there are ways, but why should it be difficult?

Again, there are nuances like what to do if a player no longer wants to play as a Killer? How to ensure that when a Killer player leaves a match, they are replaced by a random survivor? What should one player do when there is no team? It's not just burnout on my part, it's just a complete lack of point in continuing to work on this mode because the Overwatch Workshop's capabilities upset me, and what's happening in Overwatch's customs right now doesn't make the situation any better

I really think this workshop mode had potential because unlike other DBD parodies that were in overwatch, this mode is very simplified and does not have any complicated mechanics. Also, this mode stands out for its team component. Instead of pallets and windows, you have teammates who will heal, speed up, pull you in or revive. But I'm putting an end to this game mode
