The workshop currently lacks support for mercy's targetting system, because of this i tried to figure out how it works. While i havent been able to get it to work perfectly, its pretty close. There are still a few numbers that could use some tuning, and i have not looked into detecting several targets during valk, so take it for what it is.
Right now i have no plans to use this workshop for anything specific, but maybe someone else will find it useful.
- Guardian Angel range is 30m +0.50m (60m +0.50m during Valkyrie).
- Beam range is 15m +0.50m (30m +0.50m during Valkyrie).
- Beam breaks after ~1.264 sec of being 15.51m or further away from the target, but the exact time is inconsistent and can sometimes last a few server ticks more (the distance check likely occurs once every 5 server ticks).
- When several targets are within targeting range, both the distance to the target and the facing angle of mercy seem to affect which target is priotized (havent figured out exact equation).
(the additional 0.5m range on mercy's abilties probably comes from her abilites interacting with melee hurtboxes, which means it can give a little bit even further range for bigger targets. i havent compared the range for all different targets but 0.5m seems to be standard for most of the smaller targets.)
