Limited Hero Swaps

Annoyed by Counterwatch? Here every team has a limited amount of hero swaps per game - other than that you're playing the regular game.

The swap limit counts for the whole game. If a game goes on for 4 rounds, it's still only the given amount of swaps available. There is no reset between rounds!

By default the initial setup time is increased from 30s to 45s, the setup time between rounds is 60s for all modes. Both settings can be changed in the workshop settings (see below). This increase in time is meant for teams to do a decent comp setup.

Adds a HUD element for all players on top left that shows them the remaining swaps for their team (can be seen by the enemy team in killcam). Spectator's will see the remaining swaps for both teams.

This mode is based on Miraak's Scrim Mode and uses its spectator score board as well as melee in spawn as defenders teleports you to point.

Note about Escort and Hybrid when switching sides

On both Escort and Hybrid you initially can only select the hero you have last played when switching sides (this is due to coding reasons). After that, you can switch heroes, but it will count as a hero swap.

Due to this, in both modes the Assembling Heroes screen is set to 0s when switching sides, but you still have 60s for the setup ("Setup Time Between Rounds" Setting, see below).

Host controls

In case there is an issue or bug, the host can always increase the available swaps by 1

Interact + Jump: Increase for blue team (hold for 1s)
Interact + Crouch: Increase for red team (hold for 1s)

The host will also see a HUD element on the right with these controls.

Settings

The following settings can be configured via Workshop Settings:

General

Dev Mode
In case you wanna debug something or change the mode, the dev mode will show you some debug vars on the right side. It will also shorten setup time in all modes to 15s and play time to 20s (Escort) / 60s (all other modes)
(default: off)

Setup Time
The initial setup time when the match starts after the Assembling Heroes screen. In the normal game this time is 30s.
(default: 45)

Setup Time Between Rounds
How much time the teams have between rounds for their setup.
(default: 60)

Swap Settings

Swaps per Team
The amount of swaps both teams have for a whole game.
(default: 3)

Fun settings

Melee in attacker spawn kills player
Why only give defenders something fun on payload maps when meleeing in spawn while setting up? This setting teleports attacking players off the map who melee in spawn during setup.
