ANYONE CLAIMING THEY MADE THIS MODE IS A LIAR AND A THIEF OF MY WORK!
i created this code because i plan to start hosting lobbies online at the time of this writing and i dont want others to steal my work. i am well aware that anyone can save the settings of your mode and as much as i have seen encryptions made by mod authors to stop stealing of anothers work it doesn't stop it.
LATEST UPATE HERE -->04/14/24 this mode has not been designed to include any heroes from mauga onward. i have not updated it. also if blizzard reworks any characters since i last updated it which would have been back in october or so it could break changes to ammo or cooldowns. i cannot be held responsible for blizzards need to constantly change everything. i may in the future include and ajust the mod for those changes. if i do i will upload it here.
elemental overwatch i built from scratch as a way to extend on what already exists in overwatch 2 online role queue.
in addition to what you already know in role queue there are elements that each person in the game gets assigned at random. these elements enable you to do something extra with your hero regardless of who it is. gold is used to buy stats in the store and there are roles like in role qunue. you choose your role when you pick your hero for the first time.
for example if you pick mercy then you have chosen healer role and you will be picking healers for rest of the match.
you can choose to omit your ability to switch heroes to become a hero specialist. at which point you are stuck with that hero the rest of the match but gain access to things that are hard to carry to other heroes due to bugs like cooldown and ammo and ultimate gain.
the rest is for you to figure out.
