PERK BATTLE
Perk Battle is a mode inspired by the famous Counter-Strike 1.6 mod. Earn perks by killing enemies or capturing box on the map.
The way in which you can get the perk can be selected in the workshop settings. There are two ways to get a perk:
- Kill enemy
- Find a box
PERKS
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
| Burning Ammo | Burns an enemy to deal damage. |
| Self-Destruct | It explodes and kills everyone within 10m. |
| Armor | The player gets 100 armor. |
| Shield | The player gets 100 shields. |
| Regeneration | The player heals 20hp/s. |
| First-Aid-Kit | After a kill, the player gains full health. Has a two-second cooldown. |
| Destroy Perk | You have a 25% chance to destroy an opponent's perk after killing him. |
| Boost DMG | The player deals 30% more damage. |
| Ultimate Cooldown | The ultimate has a one-minute cooldown. |
| Doomfist | The player has a 50% chance of instant killing with a fist. |
| Vampirism | The player takes 25% of the damage dealt in the form of health. The perk does not work when the player has the character reaper selected. |
| Sprinter | The player moves 50% faster. |
| Bolt | You have a 20% chance to hit an enemy with bolt (100dmg). |
| Hackfist | You have a 50% chance to hack an enemy with fist. |
MODES
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Kill Enemy | To get the perk, just kill the enemy. Then the game will draw a perk out of twelve available. |
| Find a Box | To get the perk, you need to find one of the five boxes on the map. When we collect the box, the game will draw a perk from twelve available. The box has a cooldown of ten seconds. |

This gamemode is pretty nifty! I like the perks, most of them are pretty interesting. I wish that you could hold two at once or something like that to allow for some player customization, but they are still fun alone. The box mode is (in my opinion) a lot more fun than the kill mode, but I did only try this out in 1v1 with a friend so I'm not entirely sure what kind of a difference a higher player count might make. Hero selection time is a bit long, I feel. It is at Overwatch default, but in Workshop you can lower hero selection time by setting the match time before the game starts. All in all, good job! Thanks for making something fun to play with a friend :)
I actually made a mode somewhat similar to yours, albeit not exactly the same. I like your ideas!
