Over the past weeks I've worked on an Aim Training and Warmup Workshop Code for Overwatch, called "DPO", short for "Desensitization/Progressive Overload" The code is JPYHG

Here's a quick text explanation of the code, for those of you who can't access the video!
All you need to do is import the code into a custom game lobby and press start! You no longer have to add bots manually!
The code uses desensitization and progressive overload to optimize your practice by analyzing how well you're doing, and adjusting the difficulty automatically. Desensitization is the cerebral mechanism in which your brain recognizes overwhelming and intense stimuli, and becomes desensitized to them. It's the reason why we can't smell our own noses (olfactory desensitization), or why some people can handle spicy food much better than others (Eating spicy food regularly causes you to become desensitized to the sensation of heat they cause). By adjusting the difficulty level of the aim trainer as you go, the training will grow more and more intense over time, causing you to become desensitized to the increased level in difficulty, making your ranked games feel much easier by comparison.
Progressive Overload is a concept mostly used in weight training. The idea is that you start out with a very low load, and as you develop better technique and strengthen your muscles, you increase the load. When applied to Overwatch, this causes you to reach a so called "Flow State", where the game feels challenging enough to be engaging, without ever getting so difficult that it's outright frustrating.
The code also comes with a few settings, the keybindings to which you can find at the top right. You can toggle whether projectile speed should also scale, which helps by keeping the distance by which you have to lead projectiles constant as the speed increases (So you don't have to aim way ahead of where the target is standing because they move so fast). You can also toggle whether you want your own movement speed to increase. This is important, because by keeping your movement speed and the targets movement speed the same, you can "mirror strafe", which means that if you mirror the enemies movements, they effectively cancel out, stabilizing them on your screen.
Force Move checks if you've been standing still too long, which is great for newer players who don't feel comfortable aiming while moving yet. If you stood still for too long, you get a reminder to keep moving so you can develop the habit of strafing while shooting.
Anti Jump is very similar, while enabled, every time you jump it reminds you not to. While you want to jump on certain characters, on others jumping regularly can have negative effects, so this setting helps you break that habit if needed.
And lastly, you can toggle Bot Launching. When enabled, the bots will periodically be launched into the air, allowing you to practice aiming vertically as well. The difficulty of their jumping increases progressively as well. You can also disable this setting to keep the targets grounded, which helps you practice keeping your crosshair at head height.
This is an early version of the code still, and I hope to improve it over time. But after internal testing, the feedback so far has been great and players have reported that the mode was both incredibly addicting (chasing high scores), while also having a dramatic positive effect on their mechanics.

Phara moves are really strange with small repetitive jumps.
Does this work on consoles?
Hey ioStux, great to see a fresh wind in aim training. I did some testing with widow and would love to share some feedback for further improvements. (1) I think that an increase in bot speed should occur after, give or take, 10 kills similar to reps within weight training. This allows the player to get used to the bot speed before pushing them into more difficult speeds. (2) A speed increase of only 5% each time. This combined with feedback 1 helps smooth out the transition to faster speeds, hopefully reducing the rate of failure from having faster moving bots. (3) Replace the workshop map with an actual open overwatch location like last point on Havana. Having more geometry around could be utilized by players to practice from different angles like walls and high ground and doors.

I think there is something wrong with the code, when I import the JPYHG code in a custom game, it only has Team 1, and if I manually add team 2 with three bots it doesn't work as it should. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I'm on PC.
Hey! I recently updated the code, you no longer have to add bots manually. Just press start and the bots spawn automatically :)
Great Stuff man. Just checked out your code. What a great idea to throttle the bots speed to adjust the difficulty.
...I have one question, is there a specific reason you want people to add the bots through settings? Why not add them automatically in the workshop code?
