Quake World: Defrag Racing
The racing mod is a Quake-World/CS:GO/Source like physics movement race mode built around hardcoded map routes.
Players spawn as Brigitte with combat stripped away. The focus is pure movement: bunny hopping(Hold W+JUMP to auto-hop), speed building by weaving with W+JUMP, wall interaction, and racing from the start marker to a checkpoint and back. Proper mouse turn-rates are rewarded with faster acceleration, while the too fast of turns negate your speed. Just like the games mentioned.
Each supported map has a preset route with:
A green RACE START / FINISH marker
A green RACE CHECKPOINT marker
Visible green ring radius markers and through-wall icons
Timer logic for start, checkpoint touch, return, finish, best time, and leader
The HUD shows movement/race essentials only:
Large live Speedometer
Race status, current time, best time, and leader
A compact hint: Crouch to Race | Interact near Ldrbrd to toggle
There is also a 3D in-world leaderboard near the route start. It tracks top race times, and players can toggle the leaderboard display with Interact near it.
32 Maps in rotation automatically: each map lasts 15 minutes.
