Welcome to the unofficial sequel to the limited time arcade mode Hacks & Hijinx! This mode is even crazier than before now that there are 3 modifiers active at once, and nearly TRIPLE the total modifiers of the original! From riding your teammates into battle, to taking fall damage, so many crazy things can happen in this mode while you capture the objective in Control or Flashpoint! "There’s no meta here—just fast, funny, and full-on ridiculous modifiers." Almost all the original modifiers return, with some reworked to be more fun and interesting, and unlike the original mode, perks are enabled, allowing for even more creativity in how you engage with the active modifiers! Also, unlike the original, because this is a workshop mode, this mode will never be removed and can be enjoyed for as long as the Overwatch Workshop is supported.
You can see what modifiers are active at the top left of your screen at all times thanks to a new HUD element. Holding your Interact key will explain what each active modifier does. Everytime an objective is captured, the active modifiers are randomized. Every possible modifier will be listed below.
Important note, any perks that have anything to do with passive regeneration are non-functional in this mode, as this mode uses its own 1 to 1 recreated version of the passive regeneration system so that i can modify it depending on certain active modifiers. Sorry about that!
Mini-Maxing
Player size reduced by 50%. Player health reduced by 30%.
Lie Low
While crouching, players are invisible. Invisibility ends when the player stops crouching, takes damage, uses abilities or their weapon, or an enemy gets too close. The cooldown for this effect is set to 2 seconds every time you become visible.
Fired Up
"On Fire" players deal 20% more damage and healing, but are revealed to enemies through walls.
Charge Packs
Health packs additionally grant 10% ultimate charge. You can melee health packs to grab them while at full health.
Power Punch
Quick Melee attacks deal 50% more damage and knock back enemies.
Vampiric Healing
Passive health regeneration disabled. You heal for 20% of damage dealt.
Low Gravity
The effects of gravity are halved, including players and projectiles.
Back In Action
Respawn time is halved.
Berserker
Passive health regeneration disabled. While below half health, deal 20% more damage and move 20% faster.
Fortified Ankles
Jumps can be charged up by crouching. Baptiste is unaffected. (the charge jump is weaker than baptiste's passive)
Explosive
All players explode on death. The explosion damages all nearby players, regardless of team.
Motion Is Lotion
Passive health regeneration disabled. Movement speed increased by 30%. Moving too slowly causes you to ignite.
Vengeance
Players leave their soul behind on death. Allies can pick up friendly souls, healing them and increasing damage and healing dealt by 15%, and boosting movement speed by 15%. The buff lasts 10 seconds. Picking up another soul while you already have the effects active will heal you again and reset the duration.
Armor Up!
Gain 50 additional armor health.
Running Start
Leaving spawn grants a temporary speed boost identical to the Flashpoint game mode. Stacks with the same effect from Flashpoint.
Refresh Packs
Health packs additionally reset your cooldowns. You can melee health packs to grab them while at full health.
Rejected
All knockback effects are 50% stronger.
Domino Effect
When one player on your team uses their ultimate, all players on your team are forced to use their ultimate.
Lucky Crit
All instances of damage have a 5% chance to inflict triple damage.
∞ Infinity
All weapons no longer consume ammo. Due to a workshop bug, Mauga is unaffected.
Weak Knees
Players now take fall damage.
Ambush
Damage dealt from behind is increased by 50%. Quick Melee attacks from behind instantly kill.
Crab Walk
Crouching no longer reduces move speed.
No Retreat
Backwards movement speed is significantly reduced.
Acrobatics
All heroes can double jump. Genji, Pharah, and Juno are unaffected.
Sharpshooter
Critical hits deal 50% more damage
DK Mode
All players are 50% larger and have 30% more health. This modifier cannot be rolled with Mini Maxing.
Clear Comms
All players will randomly communicate random information, drowning out any actual communication attempts.
Rodeo
Players can mount eachother by pressing interact while close to another player. Mounted players take 30% less damage. There is no limit to how many players can be mounted onto a single player. Press jump or crouch to dismount.
Experimental Design
All barriers grow in size over time while active, and return to their original size when no longer active. Due to a workshop bug, Ramattra is unaffected.
Specialist
All role passives are active for all heroes. The effects stack with your existing passive.
Hot Hands
Quick Melee causes an explosion that knocks you and enemies back. Has a 5 second cooldown.
Bloodthirst
Landing a final blow resets your cooldowns, heals you for 75 hp, and grants 10% bonus Ultimate Charge.
Barrage
Projectile speed is 3x faster.
Blood Fueled
You can use most abilities while they are on cooldown, but doing so will damage you based on your remaining cooldown, and inflict you with a healing reduction effect for 3 seconds.
? Mystery Heroes
Change into a random hero on death, but your Ultimate Charge is preserved.
Close Combat
Deal 20% more damage to enemies close to you. Take 20% less damage from enemies far away from you.
Shrike
Using your ultimate grants you the effects of Nano Boost.
X Factor
The team with less capture progress passively charges their Ultimates faster.
