Lym's Ultimate Dodgeball! Version 1.0 by Lym#21135

Lym's Ultimate Dodgeball is a new fast paced gamemode which rewards quick reaction time, good aim, and mindgames.

You pick up the ball by being close to it, but beware! If it's glowing yellow, the ball will kill you if you're hit. If it was thrown by your teammate, indicated by being colored blue, that means it's safe however.

But for those other occassions, we can probably agree that dying isn't fun, so how do you avoid the red ball of plasma approaching your face at alarming speeds?

You use your character abilities to interact with the ball:

Doomfist: Uppercut and Slam have a small window where you can tank a shot which would normally kill you. Time it well to grab the ball!

Genji: Genji can Deflect the ball. If he's hit while he's deflecting, he will launch it in the direction he's aiming.

Roadhog: Roadhog can use his Hook to hook the ball and make it his, it will launch towards him (and predict his movement). His Breather gives him extra movement speed and allows him to soak the ball for a small window.

If the ball isn't picked up in 5 seconds, or someone is holding it for too long, it will respawn in the middle. Watch the timer on the top and be fast to grab it!

If you deal ANY damage to an opponent who is holding the ball, you will steal it for yourself.

This gamemode is still work in progress and I plan on improving on it as time goes on, potentially adding even more new playable characters as well.
