Hot Potato is a gamemode with 12 Tracers facing off to be the last one standing.

A randomly selected Tracer will be given the Hot Potato! Holding it burns you, so you better pass it quick before you die.

RULES/FEATURES

• OBJECTIVE: Be the last Tracer standing to win!
• HOLDING THE POTATO: The player holding the potato can be identified by the burning effect on them. They take damage over time, however, they gain a speed boost which allows them to quickly catch up with the other Tracers. If the player dies with the potato, a random Tracer will be given it.
• PASSING THE POTATO: Quick Melee someone to pass it, you will temporarily stun them and be able to keep your speed boost for a while. You can use the stun to knock the player off the map, provided you're near a pit or the edge of the map.
• GHOST SPECTATING: Don't wanna be staring at your corpse all game while waiting for it to be over? Well you don't have to, upon death you will respawn as a ghost (Sombra) which cannot be seen or interacted. Ghosts can see each other and who the Hot Potato is. The worst you can do is annoy the Tracers with voicelines and footsteps.
• DWINDLING HEALTH: At the beginning, you have an enormous amount of max health to chase a player. However, your max health decreases over time. You will have less time to pass the Potato to someone before you die.
• NO ONE CAN HIDE FROM MY SIGHT: The Hot Potato can see where everyone is, if they pass it to someone else they see where the next Hot Potato is.
