Your team is a group of mercenaries united by a common goal - to find a certain artifact of Chaos. You go to the lost time of Time town, but you can't just take the artifact and leave...
Features
- You'll have to fight four of its Defenders, each with unique abilities and battlefields!
- Enemies has special abilities. For example, Walking Bomb stuns the player if you are close to him!
- The mode is divided into 4 stages and consists of 15 cutscenes.
- There is a rebirth system as in the Archives event.
- The mode has a dynamic balance system, so you can play alone as well as with friends!
- If one player leaves during the game, the balance will be adjusted according to according to your number of players.

Each boss creates different bots that fight at his side, but also, each boss has its own special abilities!
Defender of the Town
| Ability name | Ability |
|---|---|
| Attraction | If the player is out of sight of the boss, it attracts him to himself. |
| Ghost Train | Produces purple smoke, which can pin the player. |
| Sphere of Effects | Creates a sphere, which can be 4 different modes. Red - burns the player; Blue - freezes the player; Purple - hacks the player; Gray - stuns the player |
| Burning sphere | Creates a sphere, which moves towards the player and sets him on fire if he is near. |
| Blinding ring | Creates a ring, which blinds the player. |
When the Defender is low on health, he activates a shield that protects him from external projectiles!
Fire Elemental

| Fire ring | Creates a ring, which burns the player. |
| Fire beam | Creates a beam that sets the player on fire for a certain amount of time. |
| Ticking Fire Bomb | On the battlefield appears orb, which flickers red and green, and after a while explodes. Everyone who was in the area of the explosion is stunned. |
| Tracking Sphere | A red orb appears next to the Fire Elemental and moves toward the nearest player. When it reaches its goal, it sets fire and tosses the player up. |
| Flying Program 2.0 | Pharah appears on the battlefield, who after a while uses her ultimate aimed at the nearest player. |
Fire Elemental has two forms - passive and active. When active, he shrinks and attacks the player!
Water Elemental
| Ability name | Ability |
|---|---|
| Freeze ring | Creates a ring, which freezes the player. |
| Infantry | Two Soldiers appear on the battlefield - a General and a Lieutenant. The Lieutenant shoots at the player with his rockets, and the General with his machine gun, but if you kill him, the Lieutenant dies too! |
| Frost | At a certain point of the battlefield appears Mei, and if her shell hits the player, he freezes. |
| Drop of water | A drop of water appears above the nearest player and falls on him, causing damage. |
| Succession of bombs | The water elemental shoots its bombs at enemies 3 times in a row. |
When the Water Elemental has less than half health, players are teleported to the new battlefield!
Watchmaker
| Ability name | Ability |
|---|---|
| Slow motion | On the whole battlefield time slows down. |
| Time Bomb | Watchman drops one of his time bombs, which creates an area in which the player and his projectiles are slowed down in time. |
| Hammer from the sky | A hammer flies from the sky and stuns players. |
| Attraction | Near the clock, Moira appears, which attracts the closest player to her. On his screen appear a lot of hud text, covering his field of vision. |
| Power of Souls | The souls of the Elementals freeze and set fire to the player for a certain period of time. |
Watchmaker has 3 forms:
- Passive - with this form, you need to hit the Clockworker and when he gets tired, deal damage to him.
- Active - the Clockworker moves and attacks the player using his abilities.
- United - the Sentinel unites with the Elemental souls and starts to use their abilities too!

any small scale projects or are you burned out from the workshop?
I'm more into programming at the moment (learning FrontEnd, to be specific). I have no particular desire to make modes in Overwatch (so far and less big and with a story), because it will become a chore, and it takes too much time. Also, the amount of bugs that twelzard have made in the workshop just scares me D:
But I wouldn't mind getting involved in your project, if you don't mind of course :D

the problem is to make my pve missions i need the one thing i cannot get access to which is AI pathfinding :/

these missions will probably contain capture points, escorting payloads/npc's, kill quests, raid bosses, building weapons, run n gun and puzzles

like i said as well the AI will suffer a lot without access to pathfinding as im console
I struggled with this rather strangely by simply creating enemies close to the players so that they didn't have to go anywhere. Also, if they are behind a wall, they teleport to the players. I don't see the point of making a convoluted pathfinding system if the players won't even see it.
it will look very goofy if they just teleport and appeared in front of your face
your mission is built specifically for the enemies to be put in a restricted space (same for players) which means no pathfinding is required while me on the other hand its gonna be moving from point A to B to C to D etc
You could also teleport enemies a little closer to the players, for such a distance that they can just pass without searching for a path. Or make a pathfinding algorithm, but I'm not sure that's possible /:

when the workshop finally gets released properly i wanna make my own story campaign.
it was i was trying to achieve for the past 3 years. made 3 out of the 20 estimated total missions so far and they feel rushed... except the 2nd one.
wish i had a team man...

So, Rush Hour is probably my last mode.
kris. you have created an incredible mode that its still on the popular list in this website and you have added another mission to my roster for the PVE marathons.
if i ever get the chance to do a mode with you. it would be a great experience but obviously you are now retired i guess from the workshop for now
That's not what I was talking about. As much as it may sound, I know I created a good mode (in the sense that I like it too), but, at the end of the development I just wanted to finish it quickly and that's all, since it turned from creativity to regular tedious work.
And, before you start doing your PVE mission, think about whether you really want to do it. I don't want to discourage you from it, I'm sure you'll make a cool mode, but I don't want you to experience the same as me either D:

I use "overpy" to access workshop. Yes, it is zez`s workshop recration
ngl defender of town boss need buffs at 1-2 players as i can take him out in just around 10 seconds as repear

just had a PVE marathon ( me and the bois did 20+PVE missions and bosses)
and the difficulty spike when a player joins in just kills as all when its 3 players going to 4
can you make it so once they pick their hero the difficulty changes and we get a message for the change?
OK, I'll do it tomorrow, but this way of correcting the balance will only affect bosses and players (and not minions, etc., because it will greatly increase the number of elements)

some elemental defenders at the fire elemental die by themselves
its also sometimes really hard to hit the hitbox of a character. probably because of the ai's movement which looks like a bunch of impulses as i saw it when hanzo slowed down time

the general and his boi are dying constantly at the fire elemental giving him a pile of guns that he never picks up to use
not sure if these are bugs but zarya, bap and sym weren't elemental defenders... were they?

errm soldier 76 during escort phase is bugged he does not move after his first stride lmao
and some enemies are stuck at the origin position ( 0,0,0 )
the random clouds are also bugged as it does not appear and i constantly get bugged
FIX FAST OR FAME OF THIS MODE MAY DIE (just joking)
however this just happened randomly i think as when i skipped the cutscene on my retry or reboot attempt it worked... just have a look at it please

oh yea so the ending is just completely broken. it repeats twice and sometimes the player can disappear or die

But... I want to disappoint you, but there will be no more "history" modes. Yes, I know that the story seems unfinished, but I decided that I will not develop such modes anymore, because they take too much time.

Is there any way to change the difficulty? 4 players, intense strats but we can't beat the defenders of the town.
Yes, I'm sorry, the balance for 4 players is not fully adjusted, but now I have made changes and 4 players are easier to play

ok now the echo boss is impossible to kill on solo as it just continues to heal every its under 50% hp and its doesn't help that brig makes her unkillable. Just get rid of the healers they are not fun to deal with

some bugs btw:
soldier 76 (kris) just clips into the wall at some points when he is escorted
enemy's seemed to be phased out for a bit ( guessing this is for the setup process)
elemental dialogue speaking sounds are out of sync such as continuing sounds even when they stopped talking.
just a very small visual bug for water elemental boss fight. not all "clot" enemys have a red arrow showing their position.
sometimes i cannot yeet people off the map as they just teleport back even tho they are technically not out of bounds
