Little League 3: Zombie Hunt
IMPORTANT! For Little League 3: Zombie Hunt to work properly, you'll need to add a Casual difficulty Junkrat AI to Team 2. A player could assume the role but they probably wouldn't find it a very fun experience.
In Zombie Hunt...
- The living team wins if they eliminate the zombie Junkrat.
- The zombies win if they knock down all players.
- Living players can revive knocked down teammates.
- The zombie Junkrat has a lot more HP than he has in the other LL3 variants.
- Widowmaker and a handful of abilities have been disabled in this variant because they ruin the game balance.
What is Little League 3?
Little League 3 is a highly ambitious framework mod that has been adapted to a number of different gamemodes. What all variants have in common are my custom hero abilities (which you can read more about at the bottom of this page) and various balance changes I've made, as well as 7 optional third person perspectives. Human players are also shrunk to half their normal size, hence the mod's name.
In all of the PVE variants, a team of players fights against a team of NPC opponents, the latter usually consisting of Reapers, Pharahs, Reinhardts, D.Vas, and Roadhogs, which all serve a different function and pose their own unique threat to the players. Across all PVE variants, the players have low-to-no cooldowns and no ammunition requirement, with varyingly fast ult generation depending on the exact gamemode variant.
The VS variants are identical to the PVE variants except that one or more players can join Team 2 to fight alongside the NPCs.
In the PVP variants, two teams of players fight against each other. Unlike the PVE and VS variants, standard cooldown rates and ult charge values apply and there's an ammunition requirement.

How frequent are the updates?
On average, I update Little League 3 once or twice every 1-2 weeks.
Will all heroes get custom abilities?
Yes.
Why call it Little League 3 instead of just Little League?
Way back before it became the huge framework mod it is today - complete with tons of new balance changes, UI changes, and custom hero abilities - Little League was born as a humble rework of Stop the Zombie Car. More specifically, it started its life as Little League: Stop the Zombie Car and used Stop the Zombie Car 2 by CrazyModes as its foundation. Having initially merely entailed rescaling the players and replacing Roadhogs with Reapers, Pharahs and Reinhardts to make the mode more chaotic, it quickly evolved into something far more extensive as I began enabling Hybrid maps, added third person as an option, and made additional hero balance changes and modifications in the Workshop. It gradually morphed into what's now known as Little League 2: Stop the Zombie Car, and once that was fully realized, the prototype had served its purpose. I decided to keep the 2 in the new iteration's name simply because it made the mode easier to find and more easily recognizable at a glance. At that point, I decided that I wanted Little League to be something more than just a simple rework of Stop the Zombie Car, so not wanting to ruin the experience for those who enjoyed the mode but didn't want any custom abilities, I decided that the new version would be split off from the existing one. Considering that it would be a direct evolution of what came before, it got the name Little League 3.
Why do most of the PVE variants only support 4 players by default? Can I increase the limit?
The PVE and VS variants of Little League 3 in which you fight an NPC zombie team consisting of Reapers, Pharahs, Reinhardts, D.Vas, and Roadhogs can be incredibly taxing in terms of server load. Increasing the player count beyond the default limit set for those variants can cause a critical malfunction to occur in the scripts related to respawning NPCs, or in some rare cases, even a server crash or reboot. While crashes would likely still be fairly uncommon even if you increase the player count by one player, it would immediately destroy the game balance as two critical NPC respawning malfunctions would be guaranteed to occur. The game either fails to respawn Reinhardts entirely and/or suddenly becomes unable to respawn more than 6 NPCs at a time and the problem then persists for the remaining duration of the game even if someone leaves. This should not be confused with regular fluctuations in the NPC count as these are completely normal and to be expected in all PVE and VS variants except Junkenstein's Revenge. It is also normal for D.Vas and Roadhogs to stop respawning after a while in a game with 5 or more players. Before version 10 of Little League 3, 6 players was standard for all PVE variants of the mod, but due to the added Workshop Extensions required to implement some of the new abilities I've made since version 9, the player count had to be decreased. It was a necessary measure to ensure the overall stability and playability of said variants while allowing me to implement the features I wanted to implement.
