Developer Comment:
I wanted to change all of the heroes health to follow Overwatch's 25 bar system.

Tank

Reinhardt

  • Health Decreased from 460 to 450

Sigma

  • Health Increased from 370 to 375

  • Biotic Field Total Healing Decreased from 100 to 70

  • Mercy's beam will now look like it is coming out of her staff, rather than her torso.

  • Removed the delay after exiting stealth for stealth to regenerate

Improvements

  • Optimized the amount of hud texts will be created on some heroes (slightly decrease server load on game startup)

  • Fixed a bug where care packages would open instantly.
  • Fixed a bug where the care package progress bar would stay after the care package is opened.
  • Fixed a bug where the care package icon would not appear.

This update focuses a lot on reworking the tanks in hopes to make them fair to go against as well as making them enjoyable to play.

Reinhardt

  • Health decreased from 480 to 460
  • Fire Strike cooldown decreased from 6.0s to 5.0s

Roadhog

Developer Comment:
Roadhog's ultimate was nearly impossible to counter, this should make it a bit easier to survive through it.

  • Health decreased from 540 to 500
  • Take A Breather cooldown decreased from 15.0s to 12.5s
  • Take A Breather healing decreased from 255 to 200
  • Whole Hog damage decreased from 4.0 to 2.1 per pellet
  • Whole Hog cost decreased from 1850 to 1800

Sigma

  • Health Increased from 350 to 370

Winston

  • Tesla Cannon damage decreased from 78/s to 75/s
  • Jump Pack damage decreased from 1.3-65 to 1.25-62.5

Doomfist is still bugged unfortunately. Will be back next patch. With lots of playtesting, a lot of Dva bugs have been discovered that sometimes nearly double her HP. Cannot be certain when she will be back in rotation.

Developer Comment:
Genji's blade is often seen as an ultimate that is used as soon as you can (in this gamemode). These changes will require Genji players to be more patient with their blade otherwise it won't be very effective.

  • Charge speed increased from 2.0 to 2.4
  • Ultimate cost decreased from 1500 to 1400

Lucio

Developer Comment:
Lucio's kit creates a combination that is very strong in a 1v1 fight (these being damage, healing, and movement). I have decided to make a small change to Lucio's healing ability that should make Lucio players be slightly more cautious when choosing fights.

  • Crossfade healing decreased from 8.61 to 7.0/s
  • Amp it Up healing decreased from 28 to 22.75/s

Mercy

Developer Comment:
With the previous constrants of Mercy's beam, it was very difficult for Mercy players to survive long enough for the damage to increase enough to kill high HP targets. With these changes the beam should have an increased area of effectiveness as well as increased initial damage. It was also difficult for players to keep the beam stuck on players with high mobility, so now it will be slightly easier to keep the damage multiplier.

  • Caduceus Staff initial damage increased from 2.0 to 7.5
  • Caduceus Staff multiplier addition decreased from 0.27 to 0.08
  • Caduceus Staff distance increased from 9m to 10m
  • Caduceus Staff fov range increased from 16 to 30
  • Damage Multiplier now takes 1 second after losing a target to reset

Roadhog

Developer Comment:
Roadhogs's ultimate has been reevaluated for how strong it is, allowing Roadhog players to almost guarantee a kill everytime they use it.

  • Ultimate cost increased from 1700 to 1850

Soldier 76

Developer Comment:
With the way Winston's ultimate generates, players dealing damage to Winston during Primal Rage allowed for consecutive ultimates one after another.

Developer Comment:
There is a bug where the icon to show the melee button indicator will not appear. There is nothing I can do about this.

  • Improved the generation of HUD texts using the new localPlayer feature
  • Increased the AFK Kick time from 30s+10s warning, to 45s+15s warning
  • Added sound to the AFK Kick warning timer
  • Made it so damage values get rounded to the hundreths place (x.xx) instead of going on infinitely.

  • Fixed a bug where players would infinetely respawn
  • Fixed a bug where the zone would invisible to players who join mid-match

Developer Comment:
Due to some problems that I have discovered with these heroes, they will be out of rotation, hopefully until the next patch (5/29/21).

Passive Heal

Developer Comment:
The passive heal feature that was introduced a couple of patches ago hasn't felt like it has made too large of an effect on the game. So in an effort to change that, passive heal will now be more noticeable.

  • Passive Heal delay decreased from 10 seconds to 8 seconds
  • Passive Heal amount increased from 4/second to 5/second

Doomfist

Developer Comment:
Doomfist's kit in its current state doesn't really have it effect it should, with the previous damage nerfs, it was very difficult for doomfist players to deal enough damage to kill 200/250 hp targets.

  • Doomfist's Seismic Slam, Rising Uppercut, Rocket Punch, and Meteor Strike damage has been reset to their default values

Junkrat

Developer Comment:
Junkrat is a character that I have not seen too much of making it very difficult to balance him properly, so this change is just to make Junkrat more viable, so I can balance him properly.

  • Reset the damage of Junkrat's Primary Fire as well as all of his abilities.

Widowmaker

Developer Comment:
Widowmaker was a very strong pick because of her potential to one shot tanks and kill a lot of low hp characters with one body shot and hit 2-3 spray shots.

  • Widow's Kiss Scoped Damage Decreased from 9-18/90-180 to 8-16/80-160

Mercy

Developer Comment:
Mercy's kit was very boring to begin with in this gamemode, simply having her pistol as her only form of fighting. This update adds a new mechanic to Mercy's kit, that also includes a nerf to her blaster.

  • Mercy's Blaster Damage Decreased from 25 to 22 per shot
  • Mercy's Staff does exponentially increasing damage to a single target when holding Primary Fire (This feature is relatively new, so there may be some bugs not found in play testing)

Mei

Developer Comment:
Mei's Blizzard was a very strong ability that would freeze opponents almost every time she used it. Now with these new changes, targets will not be frozen unless Mei hits them with her primary fire.

  • Blizzard Freeze Rate Decreased from 50% to 35%
  • Ultimate Cost Decreased from 1500 to 1400

Additions

  • AFK Players will automatically be kicked after 40 seconds of inactivity

Improvements

Developer Comment:
listened in during game night even though I was unfortunately unable to play, and one of the main complaints was "The HUD is very big". So that was my main focus during this update with some help from @LemonAid.

  • Removed the Change Log
  • Simplified the Hero Specific HUD
  • Updated the Waiting For Players HUD
  • Simplified the Testing HUD
  • Optimized the creation of the HUD
  • Removed the Damage Dealt and Received Testing Options

Developer Comment:
Sombra's kit had a lot of potential but her ultimate always felt like it didn't reward the Sombra with enough potential output damage. So a decrease in her vulnerability after EMP will allow her to secure a kill without, Translocating away or dying.

  • Sombra's EMP now earns her 115 temporary shield which is removed at the end of her ultimate
  • Sombra's EMP now earns her 50 Stealth (will not exceed the maximum stealth)

Developer Comment:
The decrease in Reaper's self heal made him very vulnerable in long range fights if there are no health packs nearby. This will test the waters and see whether this will make him powerful or not, especially with the reworked ultimate system.

  • Reaper now recieves the full 30% self heal from The Reaping passive

Additions

  • The color of the zone changes whenever the zone is moving or not moving
  • Added several testing options
  • Players who dont pick are randomly assigned a hero
  • NEW MAP - Horizon Lunar Colony

Improvements

  • The changes made to heroes will now be more accurate to what is stated
  • The Hero Information HUD will now display Ultimate Cost instead of Ultimate Generation to increase legibility
  • Players will now be forced into the game quicker
  • The damage indicator is now less likely to clip into larger player models
  • The ultimate system has has a complete rework and will now be more consistent with the displayed changes and have more flexibility

  • Sombra will now no longer be unstealthed when siphon is removed

Developer Comment:
It was very difficult for Winston to get his ultimate with the new system. Since he had to take about 700 damage to gain his ultimate. This number has been reduced to increase the viability of Winston.

  • Winston Ultimate Generation Increased from 15% to 17.1%

Developer Comment:
Reinhardt had a lot of survivability making it difficult to kill him without multiple people focusing him at once. Making 1v1 fights nearly impossible to win especially in smaller zones.

  • Reinhardt Shield Health Decreased from 1600 to 1000
  • Reinhardt Shield Recharge Rate Decreased from 80/second to 50/second

Developer Comment:
Brigitte had been one of the strongest 1v1 characters in this gamemode, so to make her a bit weaker against long range shooters, I have overall increased the vulnerability of using her shield..

  • Brigitte Shield Recharge Rate Decreased from 42.5/second to 25/second

Additions

  • Players now recieve 50% healing from any healing abilities whilst inside the zone, increased from the previous 0%.

Improvements

  • The Reevalutions of HUD texts and effects has been optimized to reduce server load (reduce lag)

Bug Fixes

Developer Comment:
There are a lot, this patch should hopefully make what was supposed to be an amazing update (1.11.0) actually run. (This time I had playtesters make sure everything ran well, and that will continue in the future)

  • Siphon now takes into account recieving zone damage
  • Fixed a bug where siphon didn't give the correct amount (25% of base health)
  • Fixed a bug where Tracer's health showed 175/176
  • Completely fixed the passive heal feature
  • Fixed a bug where players who did not pick would occasionally recieve the round win

Baptiste has been a really strong pick recently, so I decided to increase his heal cooldown very slightly.

I've noticed that ultimates were basically a last fight use, and most of the time, ultimates aren't even seen, so I am increasing the generation of almost all of the ultimates.

  • Ana ultimate generation increased from -10% to -5%
  • Ashe ultimate generation increased from -15% to -7.5%
  • D.va ultimate generation increased from -20% to -10%
  • Doomfist ultimate generation increased from -10% to -5%
  • Genji ultimate generation increased from +10% to +15%
  • Mei ultimate generation increased from -15% to -7.5%
  • Mercy ultimate generation increased from -5% to -2.5%
  • Reaper ultimate generation increased from -10% to -7.5%

Developer Comment:
Echo previously had no changes, and this made it easy for people who are good at Echo to make a strong character, even stronger in this gamemode, so I felt a small nerf was deserved.

  • Echo ammunition clip size decreased from 12 to 6

Developer Comment:
Genji's Blade wasn't seen too often, so along with the ultimate generation change, these changes should make it more common however require the Genji user to have more patience with their blade.

  • Genji default charge decreased from 62.5 to 50
  • Genji charge speed increased from 1.375 to 2.0

Additions

  • Heroes that were previously disabled due to Logic Issues (Symmetra, Sigma, Torbjorn, Zarya, & Zenyatta)
  • Completely new Siphon System that allows for way more customization and freedom
  • Visible In-Game Change Log that can be toggled to prevent HUD clutter

  • Improved the Waiting For Players HUD
  • Improved the load amount put on the game (prevent lag)
