Update Log for Overwatch 2 Talents - Team Deathmatch (OUTDATED) (9)

General Updates

  • Added Role Lock. Only 2 of each role can be played on each team ↕
  • You can now view all player's talents with the "View Talents" button at the top left of the selection screen ↕

Hero Updates

Orisa

  • Repulsion Systems: Damage and healing per pulse increased from 15 to 35 ↑

Reinhardt

  • Overhead Smash: Bonus effects now requires 1 less hammer hit to activate ↑

Sigma

  • High Density: Slow effect decreased from -30% to -20% ↓
  • High Density: Gravity effect increased from +80% to +90% ↑
  • Gravity Harness: Replaces Gravity Channels! - Kinetic Grasp damages and slows all recently damaged enemies ↕

Wrecking Ball

  • Mirror Ball: Now also increases Adaptive Shields proximity detection radius by 25% ↑
  • Billiards: Replaces Roll Out! - Every consecutive roll strike increases damage by 25% ↕
  • Crash Landing: Replaces Heavyweight! - Piledriver spawns 3 adjacent falling grenades ↕
  • Eruption: Replaces Blaze! - Adaptive Shields sends a flare to enemies in proximity, each creating a lava pool underneath ↕
  • Extension Cable: Replaces Radiation Coil! - Grappling Claw has 3 charges ↕

Zarya

  • Augmentation: Now buffs all other barrier-related talents ↑
  • Particle Engine: Boost duration increased from 6s to 8s IF Augmentation is active ↑
  • Pop: Replaces Spark Tabs! - Barriers explode when they expire (damage increased IF Augmentation is active) ↑
  • Surface Tension: Projected Barrier now also applies extra barriers to allies ↑

Ashe

  • Trigger Flares: Damage increased from 66 to 75 ↑
  • Service Bell: Ultimate cost reduction increased from 40% to 50% ↑

Bastion

  • Helicopter: Refuel rate decreased from 12.5/sec to 8/sec ↓
  • Bomblets: Explosion loop downtime increased from 0.1s to 0.15s ↓
  • Robust: Armour per enemy in proximity reduced from 50 to 25 ↓
  • Robust: Armour boost can only activate once per life ↓

Doomfist

  • Tremour: Debuff stack duration decreased from 0.75s per hit to 0.6s ↓
  • Defensive End: Downtime between talent uptime increased from 3s to 4s ↓

Genji

  • Assassinate: Damage from behind increased from 50% to 80% ↑

McCree

  • Smoke Bomb: When using another Flashbang while another smokescreen is active, its position will now be reset instead of not being reset at all ↕
  • Smoke Bomb: Delay for smokescreen to activate increased from 0.2s to 0.35s (now matches Flashbang’s activation delay) ↓

Mei

  • Hypothermia: Health threshold for Blizzard to instantly kill increased from 75 HP to 100 HP ↑
  • Glacial Glaze: Cooldown decreased from 12s to 10s ↑

Reaper

  • Wraith Form now clears all overtime damage effects and certain negative effects ↑

Soldier: 76

  • Shoulder Check: No longer has a cooldown; now a less effective but more consistent form of pressure ↕
  • Live Rockets: Initial extra damage reduced from 60 to 40 ↓
  • Live Rockets: Helix Rockets now inflict burn damage ↑

Sombra

Tracer

  • Recall now clears all overtime damage effects and certain negative effects ↑
  • Chain Reaction: Delay between secondary explosions increased from 0.25s to 0.5s ↓

Baptiste

  • Blasted Boots: Charge duration increased from 0.7s to 1s (now matches timing properly as per the latest official Baptiste change) ↓
  • Reinforcements: Cooldown decreased from 15s to 12s ↑
  • Reinforcements: Resistance duration increased from 4s to 5s ↑

Brigitte

  • Lodestone Waves: Replaces Weight Anchor! - Shield Bash creates a slow moving shockwave that pushes enemies back ↕
  • Hope: Delay between auto-activating Inspire increased from 10s to 12s ↓

Mercy

  • Angel Wings: Vertical acceleration rate reduced by 60% (description has been renamed to better fit its function) ↓
  • Huge Rez: Now speeds up resurrection channel from 1.75s to 1.3s ↑

Moira

  • Fade now clears all overtime damage effects and certain negative effects ↑

Zenyatta

  • Spirit Link: Burst healing increased from 25% to 45% ↑

  • Game now automatically starts when the lobby is full

Hero Updates

Pharah

  • Pressured Cannons: Reworked! Flying is disabled, but weapon strength is increased and become immune to self damage
  • Bird's-Eye View: Replaces Thunderbird - Receive 20% less damage and deal 20% more damage to enemies below you
  • Rocket Fuel: Bonus knockback removed (effect put in Pressured Cannons instead)
  • Rocket Fuel: Jump Jet now slows and damages nearby enemies
  • Rocket Fuel: Bonus projectile speed increased from 20% to 25%

Mei

  • Glacial Glaze: Freeze duration increased from 1s to 1.2s

Hanzo

  • Dragonhearted: Max shot dragons decreased from 4 to 3

Soldier: 76

  • Athleticism: Speed boost increased from 30% to 40%
  • Athleticism: Speed boost now triggers after sprinting for 2.5s; also reloads Heavy Pulse Rifle

Hero Updates

Reinhardt

  • Overhead Smash: Replaces Impact Converter - Every 3rd Rocket Hammer strike deals more damage, heals and speeds up cooldowns
  • Epicenter: Stun duration decreased from 3.25s to 2.5s

Roadhog

  • Stored Fat: Maximum bonus armour increased from 200 to 300

Wrecking Ball

  • Radiation Coil: Maximum damage decreased from 1700 to 1000

Bastion

  • Helicopter: No longer a constant acceleration upwards; now has an initial upwards boost before hovering at the same Y level
  • Helicopter: Fuel consumption rate decreased by 15%
  • Helicopter: Fuel recharge rate increased by 15%
  • Helicopter: Downtime before fuel starts to recharge increased from 1s to 2.25s
  • Tempered Steel: Replaces Steamroll - Heavy Duty armour prevents you from falling under 1 HP

Doomfist

  • Phase Shifter: Damage resistance decreased from 90% to 75%

Echo

  • Neural Net: Allies now have a 2s buffer duration for their ultimate charge to stay in sync as Echo's

McCree

  • Headlock: Now needs to double tap or hold Melee to activate
  • Clocked: Ultimate regained per successful Deadeye shot increased from 20% to 25%

Pharah

  • Concussive Blast cooldown decreased from 10s to 9s (also affects Ground Zero)

Sombra

  • Buffer: Replaces VPN - Instead of full undetectability, uncloak duration is now instant
  • Buffer: Healing rate increased from 15hp/s to 25hp/s
  • Firewall: Machine Pistol cannot be fired while the shield is up
  • Data Breach: Max damage reduced from 90 to 60
  • Data Breach: Now hacks enemies in the proximity for 2s

Tracer

  • Vortex: Dragged players will no longer be overshot when Recall is used in the air

Lúcio

  • Vivacissimo: Custom Ultimate duration increased from 7s to 9s

Mercy

  • Sleeping Beauty: Can now affect multiple enemies instead of one
  • Sleeping Beauty: Cooldown increased from 10s to 12s

Zenyatta

  • Vigor: Cooldown for shields to start regenerating increased from 2s to 3s
  • Heavy Disordance: Now damages enemies in the area of effect

  • Amped: Maximum damage boost duration increased from 15sec to 20sec

Roadhog

  • Juggernaut: Take A Breather's cooldown reduced from 3sec to 1sec

  • Mercy's Huge Rez now properly counters the score while in game
