General Updates

  • Team Deathmatch is now the main and default gamemode

    While it's always been available to play as TDM, the game tends to fit into its chaotic and brawl-like nature better this way. On an honest note, Overworked never had much team coordination, nor did it have much of a consideration that an objective exists, all because the final product of all the abilities mixed in with each other were just fit for a "kill the enemy" kind of game; making it TDM just seems to fit under all of that criteria with its entire bout of chaotic fun. This also allows more maps to be played, enabling more map environments and battleground variations instead of always fighting or spawncamping in the same areas. Because of this significant changes, some heroes/abilities that are defensive-exclusive (Reinhardt's Guardzone, Symmetra's Shield Generator, the entirety of Orisa etc.) will have some small changes made to them to fit the new playstyle. The game should still be working just as fine when played with the normal gamemodes, but they will no longer be default.
