The defense hero is now smarter!
A new Quick Game setting has been added and is now the default mode!
One of the most fun parts of Junkerpocalypse is reaching the higher rounds and experimenting with the different hero modifiers. In the previous format there was so much to unlock that it took forever to reach the modifiers and it was hard to keep track of all the different enemies. This new format requires much less commitment to reach the modifier rounds, so there's less pressure to make sure you pick the perfect one. The smaller randomized list of enemies not only makes it easier to remember what they all do, but it also makes each playthrough a unique experience with unique hero and modifier counters! This format seems like a significant improvement from the previous format, so it's now the default. The old format is still available through the Workshop settings.

General improvements were made!
Junkerpocalypse is automatically generated as the game progresses, so it can technically go on forever. Even though it's capable of doing this the difficulty can't really increase after everything is unlocked, so it quickly starts to get boring after that. I've decided to add a final round to Junkerpocalypse that occurs by default on round 30. The final round includes one final difficulty increase and allows the players to win if they pass it. The round where this happens can be changed in the Workshop settings. This has technically been there for a long time set to 999 and it can be set back to 999 to go back to the endless version.
The Junkerpocalypse is too long. It often took over an hour of gameplay to get upgraded modifiers. Now it should take much less time to complete a full game.
Most of the enemies have been reworked to feel more responsive!
Some changes have been made to the modifiers!
Some general changes were made too!
Updated the share code to keep it from expiring!
The Junkerpocalypse is everywhere! This gamemode is now compatible with all Assault, Escort, Hybrid, and Control maps!
There's now a new tier of Ultimate Form enemies that starts at round 42! Ultimate Form enemies are better versions of regular and Alternate Form enemies that attack differently. To deal with the stronger enemies player modifiers now unlock upgrades at round 42! Each modifier gets a unique twist that makes it more effective.
Ana, Echo, and Zarya have been added as enemies! The gamemode now supports all 32 heroes as enemies!
The escort round's enemy repositioning has been improved! Enemies now appear to come out of nearby rooms instead of spontaneously appearing stunned in front of a random player!
Made a lot of improvements to reviving and fixed some bugs!
Modifiers can now be applied to players, most enemies now have an alternate form that's unlocked at later rounds, and several bugs were fixed!
Added more unlockable content, fixed some bugs, improved the defense hero's ability to act as a healer if no player selects one, added a short cutscene to the beginning of the match, and replaced the enemy unlocking messages with a short introduction similar to the bosses in Junkenstein's Revenge when they appear for the first time.
Added more unlockable content, decreased the number of rounds necessary to unlock everything, and added a short story explanation to the beginning of each match.
