Two New Items have been added

Triple Strike - Launches Three Firestrikes in aiming direction

Orbital Strike (Finally) - Launch Missles from above

Adjusted default Loot table of item drops;

Two New Items have been Added

Homing Shock Ball - Same as the Shock ball; but it tracks players

Shield - Prevents Damage one time; disables item boxes

About Orbital Strike

This item that i talked about last update is not coming just yet; i had techinal issues with swapping heroes and using the ultimate; however with the new projectile update; we can use those to do the same effect.

This update adds workshop settings so you can customise your game easier;

You can now change the chance each item will drop; you can also change the killstreak mechainics to reduce or increase the penalty of losing your killstreak

This update also adds some techinquial work that will make it easier to add in new items;

Speaking of new items; there is something that im working on;

ORBITAL STRIKE

This Transforms you into a bastion and lets you rain fire from above; after which you fall towards the ground.

Now All items have Icons and their own colour when you get them

the Star Power up has had its name changed to Rally - Functionally the same

Rein Pin Collision

When two reins collilade with each other; they are knocked back in the oppositite directions that they were facing; killstreak reduces this knockback height

The workshop has now been readded; i'll be making some updates to this mode soon;

Adjustments

The Killstreak Hud now changes colour to match your Fire meter;

White - no killstreak
Yellow - 1-2
Orange - 3-4
Blue - 5-9
Purple - 10+

The Ghost item now hides the Killstreak icon when used;

Plans for this mode;

Im planning more maintance as the workshop starts picking up again; im planning to rework the item box mechianic so that the items have different loot tables depending on where in the leaderboard you are; rather than a fixed loot table;
im also planning to take the optimisations i did to the killstreak icons and huds and apply it to the item box hud. (before the killstreak icon was 4 different icons in 4 different colors; now its one icon that can change its color; and i can use that value to change the killstreak hud)
Currently each item has its own hud including the empty box and the using item box; so in order to make it easier to add more items i would need to make this change.

im also thinking of adding additional maps to this game mode (this might be in the form of other codes rather than one massive code)

Im also planning to add in custom workshop settings once blizzard enable this feature again; This will handle things such as item balance; base speed.

New Item

Shock ball, this is a projectile that explodes when it hits a wall or a player. it stuns players within 10 meters of impact for 2 seconds

Item rate Adjustment

Flame bombs and ghost pick ups now have a slightly lower chance to occur.

Other Changes

Players now hear a sound effect when using their item

1.1.0 update

NEW CODE: M5N9R

This is a rework update for all of the hud text and persistant effects are displayed, although there is no real visual difference, the changes made should make hud text and effects more consistant and avoid buggy behevour.

Instead of creating and destroying text huds, text huds are now hidden with certain conditions being used to make them visible to the player. This has fixed the bug where two hud texts could spawn at the same time for the player. this should allow for a better user experince and better performance

Item changes

Flame Bomb

Players no longer get hurt by their own bombs!

The bomb countdown is now counts in integers

Star

Changed active name to STAR POWER

adjusted Star power effects, more sparkles!

Other

Bonus points now shown as small message instead of text, added new hud text that shows when an item is in use, e.g. bomb, star, any item that has a lasting effect

Added dummy bot to test interactions when host cannot find players

Freeze Wave Optimization

Freeze Wave is now more consistant with its interacts, it no longer gives the player using it a brief phaze effect

Item boxes should be able to respawn more often and not get stuck as unavailable.

Visual Clarity

Ghost has a new effect when entering and exiting stealth, a poof of smoke will appear!
