Update Log for 12 Hooks 1 Hole: When Pigs Fly! (11)

More bug fixes!

  • Roadhog cooldown behavior was changed in Overwatch 2 (I believe, either way, hook seemed a lot more spammier than it was in OW1 with the current cooldown settings), so I manually added a 1 second cooldown to the hook.
  • Set facing delayed from 0.01 to 0.1 to help ensure the player is facing the right direction on spawn or spawn zone switch.

Couple more bugs fixed:

  • Fixed HoT being applied only once.
  • Removed silent sound effect playing.

And a quick bug fix caught:

  • Adjusted explosion effect added to ult to be normal.
  • Added a catch to prevent being stuck in the air.

Update 1.4.0 - The Overwatch 2 update

Long time no see! Since Roadhog was changed a lot in Overwatch 2, this is an update that changes his unique ult into something more compatible with the current ult functionality in Overwatch 2. (Here's hoping that the soft rework doesn't break him further)

  • Roadhog ultimate properties changed
    • Now does not automatically lift the player up.
    • When the user presses primary fire, the player is propelled the opposite direction of where they are facing.
    • When ultimate is started, the player is given an upward impulse and set facing downward (like before, but now, the player is not locked to that angle while using ultimate)
    • New HUD element to indicate to player to press the primary fire.
    • Due to Overwatch 2 changes, the ultimate also is not cancelled from hook stun and lasts 8 seconds now.
  • In addition, hud for link and code were shrunk.
  • HoT now exists for Roadhog (should not add any gameplay changes)

Due to the new nature of the ultimate, there could potentially be even crazier hooks and movement at the cost of less ease of use.

Added an official mode name to the code.

Changes:

  • Removed Discord Link. Updated Project Link.
  • Changed Code and some text in KR language.

Update time!

  • Now infinite mode and regular mode are toggled via workshop settings in lobby settings.
  • Language is auto-set (English or Korean)
  • UI has changed to include input-binded strings.

Changes:

  • Updated to 1.3.0, to be more consistent with the changes made the past several months.
  • Unified the normal and infinite scripts as one.
  • Added Korean language support (with a code above).
  • Makes use of string variables.
  • Updated UI

Changes:

  • Ult was modified a little bit to be more fluid and forgiving.
  • Script was optimized to take advantage of 1.45 features.
  • UI was adjusted.
  • Player must select Roadhog before spawning (this allows certain rules to work better).
