Update Log for Giant vs Ants (8)

[Changes - November 17, 2020 - 1.1.0]

  • The health HUD has been updated into a progress bar that changes color with health.
  • Giant armor no longer has a random deviation of 10%. It will now always equal the setting set in the Workshop Settings.
  • Improved the enrage mechanic. Every 45 seconds after Enrage starts, it will become more intense, dealing more damage to the Giant, but increasing their stats as well.
  • Fixed an issue where the Frenzy timer would not scale to its intended value.
  • Fixed an issue where Ants would gain more Shields than intended.
  • Damage dealt by Ants is now scaled a little bit more fairly depending on how few Ants there are.

The Giant now takes 10% knockback, and inflicts 500% knockback.

Removed team specific knockback modifiers.

Sigma - Barrier recharge rate decreased to 10% was 25.
Reinhardt - Barrier recharge rate decreased to 10% was 25.
Zarya - Damage increased to 33% was 24.
Zenyatta - Damage taken increased to 115% was 100. Healing dealt decreased to 10% was 30.

  • Fixed a bug where manually swapping a player from Ant to Giant would cause them to inflict and take zero damage.
  • When the timer expires, and the Giant has enraged; the giant will take 8 damage per second, was 5 per second.
  • [Ants] Base damage increased from 20% to 22%.
  • [Ant] Ashe now does 23% damage, was 22%.
  • [Ant] Ashe [Dynamite] now has a 225% cooldown, was 300%.
  • [Ant] Bastion now does 20% damage, was 22%.

  • [Giant] McCree now has a new passive ability: [Wild West], dealing damage (must be at least 1 hp worth) now has a chance to apply a bleed to the target, or apply a random negative status effect. This has a short internal CD of 250ms.
  • [Giant] Replaced Mercy [Sprint] with [Consume Energies]. [Consume Energies] will drain life from nearby foes after a few seconds, restoring a portion of health equal to the health of each nearby target, and dealing damage over time.
  • [Giant] Sombra [Translocator] and [Stealth] now have a 77% cooldown, was 100%.
  • [Giant] Widowmaker movement speed increased to 82%, was 77%.
  • [Giant] Zenyatta deals 30% healing, was 70%.
  • [Giant] Zenyatta [Burst of Discord] now does 20 damage per orb, was 30.

[Changes - 09/16/20]

  • The default timer required per kill for Frenzy has been reduced to 8, was 9. Bringing the default game length from 15:00, to 13:20.
  • Added a HUD visible to the obsession.
  • [Ant] Dying now dismounts you from the giant.
  • [Ant] Pressing melee will no longer display an error message if you are further than 15 meters from the Giant.
  • [Ant] Ashe [Dynamite] now has a 130% cooldown, was 140%.
  • [Ant] Hanzo now does 27% damage, was 24%.
  • [Ant] Junkrat now does 50% damage, was 60%.
  • [Ant] Pharah now does 35% damage, was 55%.

  • [Giant] Doomfist now takes 125% damage, was 115%.
