Update Log for Adlersbrunn Crusade (Original Eichenwalde Zombies) (7)

  • Many balance changes (Enemy Stats, Point Distribution, etc) that make the early game move quicker and the late game more interesting.
  • Moved Power location to be more obvious. Too many players were just sitting at the end of the map and playing until they die, unaware of the "late-game" content.
  • Elite enemies now gradually spawn as players increase their stats in the TP room.
  • After all enemies are elite, chaos enemies begin to spawn. You will probably not reach this point in the game
  • Updated many visual/audio effects to awesome extension effects.
  • Reworked enemy shielding so it's less obstructive.
  • Reworked enemy attacking so you don't get your healthbar instantly erased.
  • Decreased frequency of Challenge rounds.
  • Increased Juggernaut strength by a lot.
  • Increased enemy aggression. You should notice a significant change in how many enemies you face over time.
  • Named enemies and locations.
  • Added Escort bonus objective. Escort an NPC on their path to the goal.
  • Of course, several bug fixes. No doubt, there are more. I'm still finding random bugs 2 years later. Holy crap it's been over 2 years...
  • Made several changes to Nano-Upgrades: Ana - Sleep dart knocks down enemies and adds DOT, lowers Sleep Dart cooldown, and fills Ana's ult meter. Cassidy - Combat Roll briefly trips nearby enemies, and loads Cassidy's Peacemaker with more shots than is physically possible. Genji - Receives 50% ult charge after ult, and any damage dealt during ult resets Dash cooldown, and deals an additional 10% of the enemy's health. Pharah - Receives 100% of her health in shields upon using Jump Jet, and for a brief period gains massive projectile speed. Symmetra - Primary fire chains to nearby enemies through walls. Tracer - Receives 50% ult charge after ult, and pulse bomb chains to any nearby enemies, causing a chain reaction of death. Widowmaker - Any scoped shot brings enemies to 1 hp. Zenyatta - Healing an ally below 33% health with harmony orb teleports you to your enemy and instantly triggers Transcendence. Roadhog - Hook pulls enemies down to the underworld, instantly killing them.

  • So. Many. Optimizations. (I went from 327 to 240 rules...)
  • Added a "Pack-A-Punch" equivalent, "Nano-Upgrades". It is only buyable after power is turned on. Each hero has their own unique upgrade upon purchase. This effect lasts until the player goes down (Without Mercy's blessing)
  • Added a "Lucio's Headphones" powerup, purchasable after power is turned on. Purchasing this upgrade will increase your speed until you go down (Without Mercy's Blessing). There are 3 levels that can be purchased, each more expensive than the last.
  • Added a "Akande Gloves" powerup, purchasable after power is turned on. This upgrade increases the amount of damage your quick melee does until you go down (Without Mercy's Blessing). There are 3 levels, each more expensive than the last.
  • Made Mercy's blessing available all the time, not just in singleplayer.
  • Added "Tiny Crusaders" challenge round. All bots are scaled down for the duration of the round.
  • Added several Bonus Objectives. These objectives are randomly placed around the map from time to time. Completing them within the time limit grants points. The points are scaled on how well you did with the objective (Time bonuses, Objective Health bonuses)
  • Added a modifier menu in Workshop settings. At the moment, you can increase your Point scalar by up to 10x, and you can unlock all Non-tank heroes from the beginning. (Tanks are disabled because of Mystery Tank.)
  • Changed "Hammond's Rent-A-Tank" to "Mystery Tank" to better note what it is.
  • Bots no longer receive the "Burning" status during adrenaline rounds. Instead they are outlined in orange.
  • Adjusted bot stats to accommodate Reinhardt's buff
  • Bots now shield one-by-one instead of all at once when a player is using their ultimate
  • Disabled Mercy's damage boost detector. (Sorry Mercy players, but it's too intensive on the server compared to the benefit it provides. Hopefully someday we'll get a "Damage Boost Target" value in the workshop)
  • Opened up the last 2 defender spawn rooms. You can now freely walk into the last 2 defender spawns, bots can access them as well so be careful!
  • Adjusted blocked areas allowing flying heroes to access locked areas prematurely.
  • Removed last door blocking the Power.
  • Self Healing no longer provides points.
  • Replaced old bot spawnpoints. Bots will no longer spawn inside walls/ceilings.
  • Ending area now has a flag icon to notify players of its existence.
  • Ending can now be purchased at round 20 instead of 30.
  • Challenge rounds will only happen after Round 5.
  • "Juggernaut Round" Juggernaut is slighty scaled up in size, has an outline instead of an icon, and is slightly stronger.
  • The last bot alive in the round will no longer teleport to a new location when out of sight.
  • Swapping heroes with Mystery Tank no longer damages the player, but instead sets their health to the proper amount. This means no more accidental deaths from setting your health back to where it should be.
  • Revive circles now disappear properly if the downed player leaves the game.
  • The Revive Timer Indicator Circle will no longer reset if a new player enters the circle while someone else was already in it.
  • Being Revived with Mercy's Blessing now teleports you to the nearest walkable position, so if you fell of the map with it you aren't revived right into the fall zone again.

  • Raised max number of bots to 8
  • Added "Overshields" Powerup, which functions similar to Symmetra's Shield Generator. Lasts 60 seconds and grants +25% of the player's Max Health.
  • Added "Endless Ammo" Powerup, which grants infinite(1000) ammo for 60 seconds.
  • Decreased the cooldown for the teleporter to 1 minute instead of 2. Just experimenting with this for now, I might change this again.
  • Made challenge rounds significantly less common
  • Volatile Air challenge round only sets you on fire if you jump, rather than falling, being knocked into the air, etc.
  • Team Up challenge round's radius was increased from 10m to 20m, allowing you to be a little further away from your teammates without suffering penalties.
  • Enemies will now have a cloud to show where they are at during the Ghost challenge rounds, so they are no longer completely invisible.
  • The force and duration of the levitation during the Levitation challenge round has been reduced.
  • Bots now randomly strafe side to side when in sight, making them harder to hit.
  • Melee Kills now award bonus points similar to headshot kills, making it possible for non-headshot heroes to accumulate extra points.
  • Added a zone that prevents players from entering the second defender spawn via Symmetra's teleporter.
  • Bots attack radius increased from 4m to 6m

  • Added Challenge Rounds. Currently there are 6 different challenge rounds that modify the round in some way to make things more interesting. Upon completion of the round, players are awarded points scaled by the Round number. Adrenaline Rounds still occur regularly every 5 rounds.
  • Reworked Rent-A-Tank. Instead of purchasing an overpowered tank for the rest of the round, players can now purchase a random tank and switch back and forth between their hero and their tank (Health maintained). The tank is given "Energy", which scales up with Round number. With each elimination as the tank, the Energy depletes. At 0 energy, the player's tank is lost and must rent a new one. If the player dies while using their tank, their tank is lost but they are instantly revived.
  • Zombies now have a speed cap, while their health and damage continues to scale up with Round number.
  • Added Echo
  • Added a purchasable ending at round 30 and beyond. Players can gather in the circle and pool their points together to achieve victory.
  • Players that join after round 10 are now given points scaled based on the Round number
  • Mercy's damage boost now awards her points when her targets receives eliminations
  • Mercy now receives points for using resurrect
  • Sombra can no longer use translocator in the teleporter room
  • Tracer can no longer recall into the teleporter room
  • Raised the points received for headshot kills by 100
  • Fixed issues with powerups not being disabled after the timer
  • Fixed an issue where if no one was alive or in the spawn-point zones, zombies would spawn outside the map and fall to their death

  • Permaheal powerup now scales with player's healing dealt
  • Fixed an issue where leaving after picking up a powerup made the powerup permanent for the rest of your team
  • Megadamage powerup now adds 400 to your current Damage Dealt instead of setting it to 500

  • There is now a small announcement every 5th round for the "Adrenaline Rounds" to inform players that enemies gain their ult quickly.
  • Healing points are no longer rewarded when there are 6 or fewer enemies remaining in the wave. (Prevents farming of healing points while only a few enemies remain)
  • Added Mercy's Blessing: A self-rez item that can be purchased in the secret room. When purchased, you will automatically revive when downed. This mechanic only works when you're alone
  • Changed the Small Messages regarding Points earned to Custom Strings for better communication!
  • Players that join late will now teleport to a random living player!
  • If there is only one player, Ana can now Nano Boost herself

  • Lowered the distance at which Brigitte bots will shield bash you by 1 meter (now at 2m)
  • Added the Late Join mechanic (players that join after round 10 will receive the Permaheal, MegaDamage, and TriplePoints powerups for 25 seconds)
  • Slightly lowered the rate at which the bots damage increases as the rounds increase.
  • Lowered the bot damage and health scaling based on the amount of players in the game.
  • Adjusted the following hero prices: Doomfist(15000>12000) Reaper(15000>12000) Sombra(20000>15000)
  • Changed Powerup, Rent-A-Tank, and Teleporter Strings to Custom Strings so they actually make sense now.
  • Changed how bot Health, Speed, and Damage are calculated so hopefully less stress will be put on the server.
  • Reduced price of Hammond's Rent-A-Tank from 10000 to 8000
