Rein Sumo Remastered (V1.2.1)

The comeback of an old mode from years ago.

You might not remember it, but over 2 years ago there was this fun little mode "Rein Sumo"

Gameplay Summary

Players play quick matches on workshop island as reinhardt. With a launchpad in the middle and firestrike as a movement ability, your target is to throw others into the out of bounds area and into the water using your buffed hammer, shatter or just straight up charging enemies off the map. Matches last 5 minutes by default and reaching 25 score will get you a win. (Unless you fall of the map and lose score) Designed for a long DPS queue or for fun when you are bored. Change and balance the abilities as you want using the workshop settings made specifically for this! Somewhat similar to reinkart, except that you kill players by throwing them off instead off killing them with damage

Abilities

Hammer - Stuns enemies on hit + 400% knockback and also throws players up into the air a bit. This makes it so your enemies dont hit the ground and cancel all the massive knockback

Shield - Makes you jump higher and reduces your gravity. Why? I don't know

Charge - It would be a shame if you charged off the map with your enemies and made no progress. You can cancel your charge by holding it for 0.5 seconds again. You also get slightly thrown back to make sure you don't fall along with your friends

Firestrike - Gives a speedboost and throws you away from where you are facing. Too complicated? Here is a simplier phrasing: look down and firestrike to jump high up and hopefully save yourself from falls

Earthshatter - Everyone you hit flies up and back away from you. If you can combo two shatters in a row or add a charge to the mix you can for sure get several kills. Best part? Full charge on respawn, full charge after each kill and 500% passive charge rate. Enjoy the hammer down spam!

Environment

Jump pad - If this is a remake to the original, why not add our friend back? This flat green jump pad in the middle bounces you high up into the skies. To add to it you get a big speed boost after using it for a few seconds!

Out of bounds - If you played doom sumo, you know how annoying it is to knock someone off only for them to use their uppercut and punch 50 times in a row to eventually get back up. Not working here! If you stay below the platform for more than 3 seconds you get knocked down and fall to your inevitable death!

Gamemodes

FFA - Throw as much people off as you can while not falling yourself. Hit the score goal or be top 1 when the timer runs out to win! Your score can't go below 0 (Unless the host disabled this), so if you keep falling out of map on your own, don't worry about getting -8 score by the time the game ends...

Custom settings

You can set some values yourself...

FFA

MATCH LENGTH (IN SECONDS) (DEFAULT - 300 SECONDS / 5 MINUTES) = 120 to 600 (2 to 10 minutes)

SCORE TO WIN (DEFAULT - 25) = 5 to 50

SCORE CAN'T DROP BELOW 0 (DEFAULT - ON) = OFF/ON

TIME BEFORE MATCH (DEFAULT - 15) = 5 - 15 (Seconds)

ENVIRONMENT

LAUNCH PAD JUMP HEIGHT (DEFAULT - 20) = 20 to 40

ABILITIES

FIRESTRIKE STRENGTH (LOWER = STRONGER) (DEFAULT - -17) = -25 to -10

EARTHSHATTER KNOCKBACK STRENGTH (DEFAULT - 7) = 1 to 14
